Very beautiful property, very central location by the main church, big and comfortable room.

Studios usually come with a bit better equipped kitchen. Here were just a fridge, electric kettle and some plates and cutlery.

I wasn't aware that there would not be a receptionist on Sunday when we arrived. Though to be honest, they did send me an email which I didn't see before I left home.

A beautiful, quiet hotel in the perfect central location

This hotel was beautiful! Located on a charming narrow street just minutes’ walk from everything, shops, cafés, restaurants, and the harbour, with so many great options nearby. The room itself was lovely, with a nice balcony, a really comfortable bed and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Chania.

The location was amazing. The hosts were really nice and accomodating. Never had any trouble at all with anything. We had so much in such a short distance around us that we almost had too much to do.

The church bells were quite loud and early, and lasted a long time some days! But, we got used to them, and that's not the hotel's issue, everywhere nearby could hear them too!

Brilliant stay in the heart of the old town.

The hosts and staff were excellent - friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to their guests. Whenever I emailed with questions, they replied very quickly. They arranged a taxi for us in no time when we were leaving, and recommended some great spots we enjoyed exploring and would love to return to. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spotless and nicely presented. The shower was brilliant!

Everything was great. The only thing I might have liked is a full-length mirror in the room, mainly so I could try on all the new dresses I bought in Chania. 😄

Good value in the center of town

The property is on a very quiet street in the middle of a busy city, however you can still get some noise until 11-12 bc there’s a restaurant across the street. The room I booked was very large, the bathroom was really nice as well. Very walkable.

The internet would stop working around 4pm every day I think bc it was somehow connected to the restaurant, so more people using it made it barely usable — which made it really difficult to work from the room. The housekeeper also would sometimes leave clean sheets on my bed but not make it which was kind of annoying to have to make your bed when it’s supposed to be done for you.

Really enjoyed the stay

The location was very convenient, very close to restaurants, shops, and all amenities. Bus station a short walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean, with a nice balcony with seating outside. The aircon worked well and was easy to use. Appreciated having a smart TV in the room for downtime. We had an issue with the wifi not connecting in our room, but this was quickly resolved when we told reception. We had a very late check-in and I appreciate the hotel being flexible around this.

Not the fault of the hotel, but the nearby church bell sounded at 7am and again shortly afterwards on the last few days of our stay, which was really loud. Also, I'm not sure if the floor was slept by housekeeping, as it stayed sandy between cleanings.

Only mentioning this in case it bothers others… the local church bell chimes very loudly (7 & 8) but with a beautiful tone.

My sister and I decided to stay here for our annual trip and all was well until we discovered that our room had bed bugs. My sister saw a bed bug walk across the mattress and after lifting up the mattress we discovered bed bug stains and a whole in the mattress containing multiple more. In addition to that there was a leftover half eaten croissant from the previous guest indicating that underneath the bed had not been cleaned before our stay. We tried to contact the front desk but as it was 3am in the morning, no one was available until the next day. When I brought it to their attention they were apologetic and offered us 50€ in cash as compensation for an almost 300€ stay. This doesn’t even cover the cost of the sleepless night that we had due to not being able to sleep on the bed. They also offered a discount on a future stay but for obvious reasons we will not be returning. I hope that they take the proper measures to get rid of the bed bugs as it is a beautiful building and very well located but not worth the bed bugs and half eaten croissant in my opinion. For reference it was room 24. update - it is a couple days later and my sister has bed bug bites all over her body

Quality boutique hotel in the best area of historic old town Hania. Walk to everything.

Super location in the Historic Old Town of Hania. Top level shops and restaurants literally out the door. The bathroom was newly renovated and of excellent workmanship and quality fixtures. We very much enjoyed sitting on the balcony over the square!

Email with lock box location and code for key should be sent at least a day or 2 before check-in. The Email literally posted to my phone as we were trying to enter the hotel at 10:45 at night. Note to hotel: travel and international telephone technology may create delays in "last minute" info transmission. We also had trouble (in the dark) of finding the entrance to the hotel - actual entrance is on the small side street, not the square, so we could have used a very simple location map in the email, since Google Maps kept telling us we were there, but did not specify the "side" entrance. All the adjacent tavernas on the square were closed, all signage was in the dark, so we were very lucky to find a late shopkeeper who pointed out the entrance location.

Location in the center of the old town, close to the Venetian port. Restaurants and shops all around. Quiet street. The room was large with a small balcony, but enough room for a table and chairs. Nice view to the back of the cathedral - rings in the morning 7-8 am briefly but strongly. Elevator! Convenient check-in, total autonomy. Daily room cleaning, comfortable beds, large towels and bathroom cosmetics.

Noisy fridge in the room. No ventilation in the bathroom - fogged up mirror. Few hangers in the bathroom - only 2 pcs, there was nowhere to hang towels, clothes. The bathroom is large, so you can add additional hangers, which will make it easier to use the bathroom. No coffee machine to have a cup on the balcony in the morning. But these are minor things that the owner could easily fix. Other than that, the room is great!
