Monastery apartment, a unique house

Très central, pièces spacieuses et bien décorées, jolie courette tranquille. Hôte assez réactive.

Bruyant en été car les chambres donnent sur la rue commerçante. Il manque une bouteille d'eau ou deux dans le réfrigérateur, ou une petite attention de bienvenue.

Perfect location right next to the harbour and all night life and restaurants. Most places round stayed open till around 2 ish and shops a little bit later which was very convenient. The Aircon was one of the best parts for us as being from England and it being a heatwave at home at the time it felt like such a luxury and very easy to use. The terrace was also great being a perfect place to get ready and watch the sunset before going out for a late dinner as that was when Chania was most lively. Beach’s were also very close by (only a 15 minute walk) nea Cora i think was the name of the one we spent a lot of time at. Another thing about the location was the accessibility of boat trips as we were on right in the middle of it all.

The one thing we didn’t like about the property was the downstairs bathroom shower as there was nowhere to hang the shower head so you had to hold it. Was deal able though for a quick wash but not a hair wash. And also as we’re buying a lot of big bottles of water to drink there wasn’t a bin big enough for them.

No information on how to find the key. Nobody met us. We had no wi fi and Eva did not answer her phone. Had to find another hotel for first night. She answered her phone the following morning. Very distressing for 4 senior adults
