Crazy Chania

The apartment has a traditional touch and it’s located in an old building right in the middle of the main square of old port Chania. you basically don’t need to go out to feel the city vibes. If you are worried for the noise, to be honest it wasn’t that bad. we enjoyed the view and the convenience of being right by the bars and restaurants. Facilities in the apartment are good: washing machine, refrigerator, small kitchen, air conditioning.

There were renovations happening upstairs which started early each morning (by 8:30) even on Sunday.

Apartment with great view

Perfect location with view of the old port which is beautiful. Lots of restaurants, bars, shops nearby but can be noisy late into the night. Apartment very good, not huge but has everything you need. Host kindly left a few treats for us also had a late flight last day and she allowed us to stay in Apartment until 5pm, which was very much appreciated

The best the city has to offer

This place was absolutely fantastic and we fell in love with it the second we arrived. We were met by a welcome package, which was unexpected and so very kind. The location was the best in the city. The view from the balcony was amazing. For such a busy street, we were surprised that nights were quiet. The apartment itself was very clean, beautifully decorated and included everything you could possibly need. The bed was big and super comfortable. We expected a good stay based on the pictures and reviews, but everything far exceeded our expectations. If we ever visit Chania again, we are staying in this place. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Wonderful, comfortable stay!

This property has the absolute best location. We loved having our apartment right there whenever we needed a break. The apartment is located at the center of all of the activity of the port. The kitchenette and washing machine were so great to have in the middle of our Greece adventure.

I did not mind the hustle and bustle at night and in the morning, but you might not like it if you are a light sleeper. The port stays busy very late into the evening and they begin their day very early. We loved being able to watch this from the balcony.

Great location you could see all over the port. The landlady was very helpful and communicated everything at the point when we needed to know.

Lovely little place, decorated nicely with lots of personal touches.Great location in centre of town. Beautifully clean with lots of extras with coffee machine, washing machine , balcony over looking town.

The location, with a balcony overlooking the old harbour and restaurants, is sensational. Plus the property was well presented and spacious.

If music and banter late late into the night is not your thing, then it could be a bit annoying.

Adored the Bellavista!!

Stylish and functional apartment full of light. Balcony overlooking the old town and harbour area. Excellent communication with the host Krisztina who provided wine, water, and coffee. Well-equipped kitchen.

The bathroom could benefit from a few easy changes, e.g., a hook higher up in the shower stall to hang the hose and a heavier shower curtain to prevent water flooding onto the floor.

The place is beautifully designed, well equipped, and has a perfect location right in the center of Chania town with the greatest view you could wish for!! We had a great stay and would come back if we're around :)

Fantastic view from the balcony

This is a lovely studio apartment. The location is perfect. The balcony overlooking the harbour gets lovely sunshine right into the evening and makes this place. The Owners communication with me was clear, rapid and helpful.

One small criticism - there is only a hand held shower. It would be simple to fix this into the tiles.

Very good

Perfectly equipped apartment with awesome view, ideal for a couple. Just a really unique experience to stay in one of these old houses built on the Byzantine wall. Great location, but of course very busy. We slept with the windows closed, that way I think street noise is bearable when it is "buzzing", maybe more of a nuisance in the early hours but I got used to it fast (with earplugs of course).

Really not the owner's fault but be aware that the neighboring, bigger apartment is also rented out on "that other website" and it is big enough for parties which we had the misfortune of experiencing before our flight back, it started at 3AM and you can hear a lot from the terrace and everything from the corridor through the front door. Just something to consider. Yes, the bed creaks a little. For us, not a huge deal. Also, maybe some cooking essentials (oil, salt and pepper etc.) could have come in handy since there is a good portable induction stovetop.

It was perfect...beautifully decorated and super clean. In addition, it was very nicely stocked with all sorts of useful things...WINE & NUTS and water!! Excellent host. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view

The apartment has a perfect seafront location with beautiful view to the old venezian port. The flat is clean very well equipped, they even have a cappuccino machine, so you can enjoy your breakfast from the balcony looking over the old port. Krisztina is a very kind host, she helped us with a lot of advice. We would definitely return!

Exceptional

Wonderfull place in the heart of Chania, the view from the balcony was fantastic. Me and my boyfriend loved to be there. The host was very pleasant and helpfull. Apartment is quite small, but everything was clean, nicely decorated, balcony quite big, we would stay there in the evening drinking wine and gazing at the beautiful lights mirroring in the water.

Chania ist wunderschön, NO PARKING!!!

Wir haben mit Parkplatz gebucht, kein Parkplatz war vorhanden!!! Laut Vermieterin wäre es kein Problem in den Seitenstraßen zu parken, obwohl es nur für dauerhafte Anwohner mit Parkausweis gestattet ist. Wir haben insgesamt 160 Euro Strafe bezahlt, die Nummerschilder wurden uns von der Polizei abgenommen! Das waren weitere 155 EUR bei der Autoabgabe ! Sehr enttäuschend ist, dass die Vermieterin weiterhin die Unterkunft mit Parkmöglichkeiten in den Seitenstraßen anbietet. Sie war von unserer Situation informiert. Das ist dreist!!! Wir haben auf Grund dessen das wunderschöne Chania eine Woche vorher verlassen. Definitiv NO PARKING im gesamten old town!!!

Idéal pour profiter de l’ambiance de la vieille ville.

Un emplacement exceptionnel en pleine animation au cœur de la ville. Le balcon donne sur le vieux port vénitien de la Canee. Nous avons pu jouir de magnifiques sunsets avec un petit verre de blanc pour l’accompagner.

Il n’y a rien que je n’ai pas aimé, mais pour ne pas déçu, il faut prévoir les boules quies pour être sûrs d’avoir une nuit paisible. C’est la condition pour être au cœur de la vie de La Canee.
