Meni's Home

We spent 10 wonderful days at Meni's House, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We were six people, and the house was just perfect for us, spacious, comfortable, and ideal for our family. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the great location, which made it easy to explore Chania and the beautiful beaches nearby. We made some wonderful family memories here and would love to come back one day. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

A little more communication before our arrival, especially about how to collect the keys, would have made the check-in easier.

Dom świetnie usytuowany, dosłownie tonący w zieleni, która chroni przed palącym słońcem. Blisko centrum, ale jednocześnie schowany w bocznej spokojnej uliczce, w niewielkiej odległości od atrakcji takich jak: plaża Nea Chora, Port, promenada z licznymi restauracjami. Do plaży, promenady jest 5 min. Do sklepów także kilka kroków. Świetna cukiernia Papanikolakis po drugiej stronie głównej ulicy. Obiekt jest wyposażony we wszystko co trzeba. Bardzo wygodne łóżka, a w każdym pokoju klimatyzacja. Niewątpliwie ogromnym atutem domu Meni’s Home jest sam właściciel. Popsuł się ekspres do kawy, a po zgłoszeniu, po niedługiej chwili zjawił się z uśmiechem i nowym sprzętem. Odpowiadał bardzo szybko i oferował pomoc na każdym etapie naszego pobytu. Z pewnością wrócimy. Polecam ten obiekt.

Great apartment and location! It’s quiet, spacious and has everything that you need! We were a family with young children and a grandparent, the space was great to accomodate all of us and be able to prepare snacks in the apartment. We were happy to be away from the busy old town which is 15 min walk or 5 euro by cab. Within 3 min walk you have bakeries, restaurants, fruit stores and so on. The beach is 8 min away where there are so many restaurants to choose from. We have rented a car and went to different beaches and areas within the island and had an amazing holiday! Looking forward to my next holiday in Chania!

Good location near to shop, sea. Good equipped kitchen.

The biggest disadvantage was the dirty apartments. There was a feeling that the apartment had not been cleaned before our arrival. There is a lot of mold in the bathroom, as well as in the lower kitchen cabinets, dirty sofa in living room. Also the lack of mosquito nets on all windows and therefore a lot of insects flew in. In general, ventilation of apartments was quite problematic, opening a door or a window, a cat who lives on the street immediately entered the apartment (probably it will be especially important for people with allergies). There were also other little things that, in general, unfortunately didn’t add up to the most pleasant impression.
