Good location and good for the price. Room was big and floor clean. Kitchenware in good condition

Showerhead broken, ugly shower curtain sticking to my skin. A lot of little things in lousy condition, or not working. Broken showerhead Poor ventilation, a bit cold at night (November)

Happy, basic inexpensive beach place.

Location close to the beach with a lovely 25 min walk along the sea into town. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. The host was friendly and there are even beach towels to borrow. The balcony was huge and very pleasant to have breakfast on. Large comfy bed.

Strangely to a British person, there were no bedclothes. Just a bottom sheet and a folded top sheet which hardly covered the bed. No TV reception and poor wifi but this didn’t bother me unduly.

Decent place - good value for money

The host, Mr Constantinos - first, he agreed to let us check-in earlier, and was overall very nice (and speaks English very well, it's also worth mentioning). Then, we had an accident of loosing one backpack on our way to the place, and he provided us with phone charger and many useful information on how we could try to find it. Overall very nice man. The view from the room was nice, overlooking the street heading to the city beach. The place itself is on 15-20 minutes walking distance from the city centre and the old town.

Bathroom is small, but, then again, it was to be expected, since the booking price was not as high as some other neighbouring places I've checked beforehand.

Located right off the main Nea Chora. 20mins walk to downtown. Friendly owner.

Poor water pressure and tiny pin hole shower head. Bathroom large pipe cover/panel totally missing. Very old and outdated equipment. Hard bed, rock hard high pillows. Next to useless AC. Fridge barely got cold. Noisy but I bring earplugs.

Nice stay

Center room at chania (nea chora) just 2min by walk to the main beach. Many restaurants, coffees and stores in the aria. The room was amazing clean the lady makes a very good work, full equipment kitchen, tv, double bed and balcony.

A cosy place to stay that's close to beach, bars and restaurants. Easy walking to Chania Old Town.

The location is great – so close to the beach and restaurants – and Constantinos was very helpful. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. The décor's dark and somewhat dated but it was kinda cosy.

The curtains could do with a wash. They smelled musty, dusty and a little smoky – not pleasant. The kitchen is very small with not much space to prepare anything – which isn't a problem if you plan to eat out all the time! – but I like to make my own breakfast and have the odd at-home lunch or dinner, so it wasn't ideal in that respect.

Extremely clean and had kitchen facilities.I got more for my money than I expected.Owner was very helpful.Great location,however initially I found it difficult to find due to Greek Street naming.Easiest way is from the beach front.

Optimal location, close to the historical center and to the beach, but in a secondary street with no traffic and no crowd. Several restaurants, coffee bars and rent-a-car shops at walking distance. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

To have hot water, one has to turn the heating on about 15 minutes beforehand (and to turn it off, as soon the water is hot).

We stayed for the second time at Constantinos. Everything was again perfect and we would come back any time. The owner is so friendly and makes sure that everything is fine. You get clean towels and cleaning of the room around every two days.

Very cool private space, with bathroom, a nice kitchen and a really great balcony. The owner is super nice person, he is answering the messages so fast in whatever you need and is always up to help. I think everyday (or almost everyday) there is a cleaning person who also is really kind person and helps you with anything. Good location also,, around 10-15 mins walking from city center, and few meters from a nice beach and close from other nice beaches in the opposite way to the center. Also in the area there is a lot of local options of supermarket, restaurants, bakery's , minimarket open until late, etc.

A warm and effective support to our enjoyment of crete

Constantino is a very kind, caring and humble host. He made us feel safe and supported. The room had all that we needed. The location is perfect : free street parking, 2 minutes from beach and characteristic restaurants. 15 minutes from the Venetian Harbour. We would come again... Hopefully 😊

Close to the beach + helpful host

Location is 3 minutes by walk from the beach and several great restaurants with sea view to enjoy the breakfast or dinner out. Host was super helpful and giving recommendations what's worth of visiting.

GREAT DEAL

The accommodation is absolutely recommendable. Konstantino is a nice funny and helpful man who manages the whole thing. Everything was very uncomplicated and he was always helpful. The location of the accommodation is central, 2 min to the beach and about 12-15 min to the beautiful old town. 2 min to the next small mini market. And lots of restaurants around the corner, but I found it too touristy. If you want to eat well and authentically and not totally overpriced, you have to take a longer way to find something suitable in the old town :) and it's worth it! 12 min to the bus terminal, for those who travel themselves from the airport or another city. About the accommodation itself: My small apartment had everything you needed. Everything was clean, which was fantastic. I found the bed comfortable, the small kitchen and the fridge and mobile cooker top were perfectly adequate. From the kitchen you could go out onto a spacious balcony. The kitchen was separate from the bedroom. This was useful because it gets very warm in the morning and the kitchen heats up a lot with the large windows. But with the door closed, you could sleep in without melting. There was also air conditioning, which I didn't use. I just don't like air conditioning. That's why I can't say anything about it. In addition, the cleaning staff is very attentive and just great! Bonus: When I was there, there was a cupboard downstairs next to the exit with towels you could use for the beach 👌 Conclusion: I will very very happy to come again ❤️

Highly recommended for single travellers or couples.

The host was super welcoming. Constantinos is such a lovely and open person ready to help with any questions. He was always available on WhatsApp and replied to any requests. The hotel is located in a 2-min walk from the beach and 15-min walk from the Old Town. The room is well-equipped with everything you might need. There was no iron there though. But I brought a mini iron with myself. The room was cleaned each two days. Beach towels were available for free on the ground floor. The air-conditioner worked well. There was a very nice mini-market in a 2-min walk from the hotel. It has an amazing selection of local fruit, vegs and other products.

Wi Fi connection was bad. I managed to log in but the signal was too low to use. But right upon my arrival in Greece I bought a local sim card with 18GB. So it was enough to use on iphone as well as macbook.
