We spent a week here from 19 September. The location was excellent. Ten minutes from the bus station .The room was large and spacious and kept very clean. The shower was hot and the bathroom was a good size. The accommodation is in a traditional building in the heart of old town which is where we like to be. We were a 2 minute walk to the Venetian harbour and A 10 minute walk to the East side of the harbour which has some of our favourite restaurants. The beach at Neo Chora is about 15 minutes away. Despite being central to everything the room is very quiet and any external noise does not disturb you in any way. We had the benefit of a small balcony and I was able to read my book , drink my coffee and enjoy the sound of people enjoying life. We have been to Chania a number of times and this type of accommodation never fails .

The location is central and close by to shops, restaurants etc. The entrance patio is nice.
The maid is nice and hugged me when I cried (and I did. A lot).
The room was dark, no inner shade so you have to be with the heavy ones closed all the time and it was very depressing. The lock of the glass door to the balcony was broken, so you have close the outer shades which means more darkness.
My room was on the ground floor (which I knew) but, basically on the street and people walk by all the time, right by you.
All the light bulbs were white and the feel was the opposite of cozy.. I bought candles at some point. The owner wasn't there at no point but can be connected through Booking. At some point I gave up trying.
