Perfect for our five-day stay in Paleochora. The Anchris is located on a street that is surprisingly quiet; we were surprised to find that the days and evenings are quiet because many lively places are nearby. The beach is two blocks away. In one direction, there are two grocery stores, as well as a lovely bakery, just minutes away, enabling us to buy fresh foods each day without storing too many items. In the other direction are several restaurants. In the evenings, Paleochora is a lively small city, and we loved being in a place that enables us to enjoy the nights and then take a short walk back to relax. The apartment features a patio that is equipped with a table, two chairs, and a generous awning-- perfect for enjoying the sunset. Above all, the host is wonderful!! Excellent service, from start to finish. We already are planning to return to Anchris in Paleochora.
The apartment is small. Even though the bedrooms are nice, the apartment does not have a living room. Instead, there is a small sofa in the same "room" that contains the kitchen. For a traveler that wishes to rest in a room that is distant from a bedroom, Anchris might not be a suitable place.
