We really enjoyed our time at the Vakakis apartment! If we’re back in Paleochora, we would absolutely stay here again

The apartment was very clean and spacious. We did not cook anything there, but it seemed to be well appointed if we wanted to. The bakery items left were a great touch! We loved that the apartment was outside of town but a quick walk to everything. Neighborhood was very quiet.

The only thing is that the apartment definitely had an odd smell to it, which was attempted to cover up with room scent (which I’m very sensitive to). But underlying it was an odd, unpleasant smell.

Ordinary stay.

Modern, clean apartment with 2 balconies and a well-equiped kitchen. They left us bakery goods and fruit on the first day.

The communication with the owner was slow We had a problem with the safe. They said they would send somebody but never did. The women who welcomed us didn’t speak English so it was difficult to ask some questions and get information. The area is so-so. Lots of dogs barking and the streets weren’t lit at night. It was a fairly long walk in and out of town (coming back was uphill). More than once a day and in the hot sun, it became less enjoyable. It would have been better if we had had a car.

New apartment, very comfortable with two balconies - one of which had a great sea view where we could enjoy breakfast. Would definitely return.

Much better option compared to a hotel (you ‘ll need a car)

It was very clean and the landlord offered a lot of welcome food and drinks. The landlord owns local bakery and everything tasted great. We also bought additional food from the bakery for the remaining days and for our friends. The apartment are new modern and comfortable and have all what you need, even washing machine including cleaning material. The personnel and the owner were super friendly!

On the negative side the bathroom was smelling bad when the ventilation was on and the ventilation was quite noisy. The solution was to keep the ventilation off. The mattress was too soft but this is a matter of taste. The sofa is. It comfortable at all unless you are a kid. Finally the apartment was not available when we arrived and we arrived a bit late (14:30), they were so polite though and apologized many times for the inconvenience.

The Vakakis family is very kind and helpful! Our apartment and its equipment were fantastic! There were many goodies waiting for us in our room from the family's store! The view of the city and the bay is very romantic! Thank you for being here, we will definitely be back! Paleochora is very lovely place!

Beautiful and brand new luxury apartment

Amazing, very clean and brand new apartment with everything you need. Only 3 minutes by car from the city center. Two balconies with fly screens on each door. Communication with the host was easy and reliable. We really enjoyed our stay in this brand new building and highly recommend it to travelers looking for a luxury apartment on a budget.

The location was surprisingly quiet. Very new. Very well furnished and equipped - included a washing machine, iron and small ironing board. Juice maker, coffee and frappe maker. Very good beds. All the advantages of a new apartment. Also small refreshment from the Vakakis bakery, some coffee/sugar, fruits, water and juice included at arrival which was very pleasant.

Honestly cannot think of anything important. Maybe a little more variety of cutlery/knives would be welcomed.

Absolutely amazing apartments !!

These apartments are the best I’ve ever stayed in. Just out of the centre but so easy to access everywhere. The family are amazing and delivered lots of lovely treats from their bakery, to us. The apartment is equipped with EVERYTHING you need. They are beautifully appointed.

Wow, what an incredible stay! We had such a lovely welcome with freshly baked pastries offered from the Vakakis bakery :D The place is beautiful and as pictured. It was so clear that our experience as guests was really considered. It felt very cozy and had everything we needed, with lovely views from the terrace/balconies. Would love to stay there again and highly recommend!

Best place to stay in Paleochora

We loved everything about our stay . Starting with lovely owners who brought us lots of sweets , bars , cakes & fruits . It was so nice and felt so good when the owners put all their hearts to make sure that we are happy with everything. Apartment was super clean, we had amazing sleep on super comfortable beds. Is fully equipped with anything you might need on your holidays . Located on the hill gave us great view. Apartment is brand new , we highly recommend it . We had amazing few nights there and for sure will be back :-)

Perfect

Everything very nice. We felt really welcome at arrival. Nice, fresh and clean. Good internet made it possible to work remotely. Android TV in bedroom supporting immediate Chrome cast. Two lovely spatious balconies giving sea view and realy nice sunsets. Different every evening.

You need to walk a bit uphill to reach the appartment. 10 mins to beach and restaurants. On the other hand creating the view and very good space to park rental cars.

Super schön eingerichtet, hier fühlt man sich echt wohl. Wir bekamen auch noch Obst und süße Leckereien der hauseigenen Bäckerei - einfach köstlich. Appartement ist etwas oberhalb des Ortskernes, was super ist, es ist daher sehr ruhig.

Ottimo appartamento a pianterreno sulla collina panorama. Pulizia perfetta, ampio soggiorno con un comodo divano letto, spaziosa la camera, molto funzionale il bagno anche con la lavatrice. Cucina ben equipaggiata ideale per cucinare.

Το διαμέρισμα ήταν εξαιρετικό. Πεντακάθαρο και με όλες τις ανέσεις. Άνετα στρωματα.Ευχάριστη έκπληξη το κέρασμα που μας περίμενε. Κέικ, κουλουράκια, κριτσινια, φρούτα,χυμοί.Το διαμέρισμα βρίσκεται σε ήσυχη περιοχή και σε μικρή απόσταση από το κέντρο, 5 -7 λεπτά με τα ποδια.

Πολύ ωραίο και βολικό στούντιο, πεντακάθαρο, σε ήσυχη τοποθεσία. Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν προσιτοί και εξυπηρετικοί όποτε τους χρειαστηκαμε. Κατά την άφιξή μας μας περίμεναν κεράσματα στο δωμάτιο και μας έφεραν και άλλα τις επόμενες ημέρες. Θα το ξαναεπελεγα άνετα! Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Asunto oli viihtyisä ja kaunis. Juuri sopivan kokoinen pariskunnalle hieman pidempäänkin oleiluun. Kaksi parveketta upeilla meri-, vuoristo- ja kaupunkinäkymillä. Mukavat sängyt. Ilmastointilaitteet ja keittiövarustus todella hyvät. Saimme Vakakiksen perheeltä viikottain leipomon herkkuja ja tullessamme he olivat tehneet meille valmiiksi herkkutarjottimen. Jääkaapissa oli valmiina vettä, mehua ja hedelmiä. Siistijät kävivät joka toinen päivä ja heitä arvostimme todella paljon. Asunnossa pesukone. Sijainti hyvä, lyhyt kävely hiekkarannalle ja keskustaan. Rauhallinen paikka, ei meteliä öisin. Pysäköintitilaa reilusti talon edessä. Kuukauden lomamme meni aivan liian nopeasti täällä. Voin lämpimästi suositella Vakakis Familyn majoitusta. Ensiluokkainen.

La modernité du studio, sa propreté, ses équipements, les petites attentions (eau, fruits, gâteaux…)

Simple détail qui n’a en rien gâché notre séjour : éventuellement mettre un volet dans la chambre pour ne pas être réveillé par la lumière du matin
