The location was excellent, by the sea and the room was exactly what I wanted! The view from the balcony was wonderful, and the owner was very kind, responsive to our requests.

There was not hot water. They told us that the system was broken. This was the only but from my point of view quite a big problem. The location is in front of the sea, but is quite isolated, far away from shops. Only by car!

Dissapointing

The restaurant was good.

I must say this was my first bad experience in Crete. The owner of Akrogiali told us that Booking has made a mistake and the room that we booked and prepaid online for two nights, from 30 September to October 2nd (Friday to Sunday, that actually had seaview) was actually booked from Saturday to Sunday. She offered a lesser room for the second night, which we initially accepted although a downgrade. Then… the internet was not working, we couldn’t pay via credit card for our meal at their restaurant and had to take a trip of 10 km to an ATM and drive back to pay it, they did not offer any showergel or shampoo, there was an air conditioner but they did not provide the remote for it. The icing on the cake came in the morning when the cleaning lady woke us up and basically evicted us from the room early, because she had to prepare it for the other guests. The night before I actually asked the owner when do we need to move and she said whenever we are prepared to go to the beach. Apparently they were expecting us to go to the beach at 9 in the morning. Very annoyed we decided to leave and asked for a refund.

Very good location right on the beach 2 km from Kissamos. An intimate facility for those who want to relax in silence. Very nice hosts, always helpful, rooms clean and cleaned daily. On the ground floor there is a taverna where you can eat tasty.

It was one of the best dinner I had in my life. Seriously! The fish were so fresh and delicious and the veggies in salad were full of natural taste. And then the dessert - homemade yoghurt with honey and candied grapefruit peels....almost magical experience. Recommending 100%

GORGEOUS

The restaurant was one of the best of all the island. No doubt. The Boss is also a fisherman and everyday work on his boat. Truly impressive in 2021! The room is really close to the sea and you have a lot of space. 10 POINTS FOR AKROGIALI!

Nice place

Staying at this place was a good experience for the kind people who welcomed us and also because its close to the centre of kissamos and to reach the best beaches of the area (balos, elafonissi and falasarna). A big plus: the balcony on the sea, where we could enjoy the sunrise and the sunsets

Everything was amazing. Pepe was very kind and helpful. The beach is almost private. If you are looking for a calm stay near to beach with not a lof of people. This is Great place for you. If you don't have a car, you have to walk for 45 minutes to a Mavros Beach. The room was clean and tidy. Service was excellent. Would come back again.

Amazing view, beach in front of hotel. We loved the restaurant - view, sound of the waves, wonderful food. They had Urchin which was my first try 🙂. And it's a perfect starting point to get to Balos or Elafonisi.

Poor

Maybe in season it's different, but we were before. Personnel acted like we weren't there, we ordered plate of mixed fish - we got two same fishes. And the most important: we booked big room with the sea view, we got small room (we were told that something in the big one is broken, so we accepted). And after few hours we saw that the big room we booked is occupied by other family. I can't recommend.

You can see the sea from the room and hear the waves. The room was spacious and the hotel was easy to find. The staff was friendly and helpful. The balcony door can block the wave sound effectively if preferred.

The internet connection was a bit weak in our room. The shower could improve but it's fine for a short stay.

The whole area is neglected, it is not the placement of the owners of the place but greatly detracts from the experience. The small strip of beach is sandless and uninviting. Old-fashioned and uncomfortable bathroom. Terribly noisy refrigerator

Posizione eccezionale con affaccio direttamente sul mare. Camera ampia e pulita con comodo parcheggio interno alla struttura. Ristorante sotto alle camere ottimo per cibo e per posizione direttamente sul mare.

Bagno cieco molto buio con solo una piccola luce sullo specchio che non permetteva di illuminare la doccia. Assenza della TV e del bollitore segnalati invece presenti su Booking.

Θελει βελτιωση… μετρια εντυπωση

Ωραιος χωρος σε καλουτσικη τοποθεσια λιγο απομερα. Μεγαλο δωματιο αν και για 4 ατομα δεν ηταν πολυ ευχαριστο.

Δυστυχως τοσο οι παλιες πορτες και η ελλειψη μονωσης μας ξυπνουσαν ειτε πολυ πρωι ειτε μεσα στη νυχτα. Ακουγοταν μεχρι και τα καζανακια που γεμιζαν απο το διπλα δωματιο. ειχε πολυ θορυβο γενικα απο τα γυρω δωματα και απο την ταβερνα απο κατω. Η σκοτριασμενη απλωστα ωστοσο μας διελυσε τα μαγιω αυτη θελει αντικατασταση αμεσα. Γενικα μετρια εντυπωση και σιγουρα σε καμια περιπτωση δεν δικαιολογειται η τιμη του χωρις καν τα βασικα ενα σαμπουαν πχ. Θελει αρκετη βελτιωση η γνωμη μου!
