About this house rental
The village of Ravdoucha is one of the most beautiful and wild places of the Rodopos Peninsula, in Western Crete 30 kms west of the city of Chania, and 48 kms from Chania International Airport (direct by National Highway) This small village of only 50 inhabitants overlooks the Gulf of Kissamos-Kastelli. The house, is the very last of the village, on the hill with a veranda with unlimited view, overlooking the bay.
from below, a private path goes down the rocks where there are serious little terraces full of flowers and below a place to swim alone, even naked!
Capacity: Each apartment is for 3 people maximum 4 - with a living room (1 bed and 1 sofa), kitchen and bathroom, and on mezzanine 2 beds. Please note that the two similar annexed apartments are located on the site, the terrace is divided and each apartment has an additional exclusive outdoor kitchen with barbecue.. Floor level: kitchen (fully equipped -coffee-oven-fridge) and air-conditioned living room. There is also a sofa bed. Bathroom with shower. Outside - outdoor table and chairs. on mezzanine: a double bed . Beach and private place to swim under the property to be shared with one more house. Pictures in detail exist in myhousetorent
Although lower down the house is a small harbor with a sandy beach, the house has its own bathing place (shared occasionally) by tenants from the same owner!
Warning! The descent to the gardens and the place to swim is steep. It's a really great place, with a patio overlooking the bay. In front of the peninsula is the famous BALOS accessible by car or excursion by boat see the photo inserted in the ad! Super steps, ATM, restaurants, bars are 7 km away in the village of Kolymvari.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations upon arrival by far!!
The sea and bay view from the terrace is to die for. It is a very peaceful place and there is a large garden plus a private access to the sea where you can go for a swim. The whole property is fully equipped no matter what you are aiming at to do next and also very clean. Even the fridge was filled up with food and drinks, most of them fresh and local produces. I almost feel embarrassed to mention that one (of the many) coffee making devices wasn't working...
The hosts Eleni and her father Nikos are super friendly and were always ready to help. Upon departure we even got some homemade olive oil and avocados to take home with us.
Seriously, this place is highly recommendable and I will always come back. I travel a lot, but this retreat really made a difference!!

L accueil de Eleni et son père est incroyable. L'appartement était hyper bien équipé sans compter les produits locaux du propriétaire. Huile d'olive, vin, herbes du jardin fruits et légumes apportes avec soin. Les abords sont très bien soigner avec goût, l'accès à la plage pas très bien pensé et offre une vue extraordinaire sur la baie de kissamos. la terrasse offre la possibilité de cuisiner et de faire un barbecue devant un magnifique au coucher de soleil. La cerise sur le gâteau, Nikos nous à cuisine un repas gargantuesque lors de notre séjour. Un grand merci
