About this house rental
Beautiful and spacious stonehouse, constructed in 1950, is fully renovated. At a height of 700 meters the village Temenia is surrounded by a really relaxed and quite atmosphere. The house is fresh and has a double and two single beds, it can accommodate four people comfortably.
The calmness, tranquility and direct contact with nature is what characterizes the place. In the village there is a thermal spring -the only in Crete-, verified by the Greek National Tourism Organization. An important monument of the village is also the Byzantine church of Sotiros Christou of the 14th century with great architecture and frescoes. In the neighborhood you will find a traditional restaurant and coffehouse. The nearest shops are in Kandanos and Paleochora.
The village is 62 km from Chania, about 16 km from Paleochora and 17 km from Sougia (about 20 minutes by car). Centrally located you will have easy and quick access to different beaches (Paleochora, Sougia, Elafonisi), gorges (Samaria, Saint Irene) and to historic places (ruins of the Minoan city Irtakina).
It is suggested to have a transport vehicle.
