Charming apartment that is very comfortable.

Great location and a very charming apartment. We loved the kitchen, the shower and separate toilet. Spacious and very walkable to everything you would want to go to see. The bells from the cathedral were a very enjoyable and a great reminder that you are so close (don’t worry, they don’t ring throughout the night). This apartment is worth visiting.

Delightful stay.

This utterly charming apartment is in the perfect location just a few steps from the cathedral. It has every amenity we needed and the hosts promptly answered any queries. The bed was very comfortable and it truly felt like being in our own home.

Perfect place to stay in Bayeux!

What a perfect place to stay in Bayeux! We thoroughly enjoyed both the flat and the location. We loved the character of the place with the high ceilings, big windows and beams on the ceiling. The flat was well equipped and in a perfect location for exploring on foot or by car- so many shops and restaurants all around! This was a real gem of a stay!

The only thing I'd change (and this is personal opinion) is to use scent free detergent for the linens. There was truly nothing else to improve! It was a great stay.

A lovely and very comfortable apartment in a great location.

Great location, central to everything in Bayeux and in walking distance to all places we visited. It was nice to have restaurants and cafes just across the street from the apartment.

Just a small point regarding access to 2nd floor which has a spiral staircase and be mindful if you have heavy luggage as we did, although it was ok for us this.

We loved staying at this warm and welcoming home.

This is a very home-like gîte. It was immaculate and furnished with everything we might need. Communication with the owners was also very good. The bed was comfy. It was quiet and bright during the day. There was a nice, walkable city-market. We would love to return for a longer stay.

The only inconvenience was the parking. We paid to park across the street because we never located the free parking facilities. But that is no fault of the owners.

A great place to stay in Bayeux

Very nice apartment. Very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Spacious and comfortable. Very good communication with owners and easy to find. Convenient walking to all central Bayeux and a short drive to many of the D-Day sites and memorials. The Cathedral is about 100m from the front entrance. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, clean, comfortable place to stay and a great host, Patricia.

Patricia met us at the train station and took us to the rental. Patricia wanted to complete some cleaning so we dropped our stuff off and took advantage of being in the center of town to look around. She showed us how to use the lock box as well.

The location could not have been better. The unit was very clean and well equipped . we took advantage of the use of the washer as this was day 10 in our Europe trip.

Patricia met us at the gite and showed us around. She shared places to shop and eat. The apartment was on an adorable street with a view of cathedral and inexpensive parking across from gite. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and she left coffee for the machine. We very much enjoyed the space.

Location, Location, Location.

Great location right in the centre of Bayeux near the cathedral and within easy walking distance of museums, tapestry and Commonwealth War Graves cemetery.

Nothing we were very happy with the property. Be aware local parking (literally across the street) is limited to three hours however the host has a good resources to help you decide where to park if you are driving.

Great location and comfortable apartment in Bayeux. Parking is available but may be limited.

Check-in was easy and convenient. Keys were in a lockbox. WiFi was available and fast. Good kitchen for a vacation stay.

We arrived on Saturday and didn't know that access to the street the apartment was located on was closed on Saturday and did not open until late that evening. We drove around the town several times trying to find a way to drive there. We finally parked some distance away and walked to the location to determine how to access. We then found a parking lot closer to the apartment and walked over with our luggage. The next day we were able to access a small parking lot across the street from the apartment. Note that parking in most Bayeux locations is free from 7PM (19:00) to 9AM. Other times require payment. Parking can also be limited.

The location is ideal with parking across from the entrance. Patricia was Incredibly accommodating and flexible with check in times. It’s a very short walk from The train station. Beds are comfortable even the pull out. Excellent value for a three person accommodation.
