Perfect location to embark on your Normandy tours!

Very spacious and centrally located, close to all the nice bars and restaurants and Place de Quebec. Well equipped and close to a small supermarket.

Need to be mindful of the narrow staircase if mobility and stability are issues but it was perfectly fine for us!

Location was awesome. Near restaurants. Spacious inside with a kitchen. Close to Omaha beach.

Parking is difficult to figure out. It is located on a 4th floor. Narrow and steep stairwell. Don’t bring suitcases.

The location is so central to everything in Bayeux. A fabulous delicatessen right at the front door too.

The stairs up to the apartment were very steep and narrow. Would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise it was perfect.

Fabulous location for exploring Normandy!

It was cosy, it had everything we needed. Very central for us to explore the local area. All the facilities worked perfectly, the shower, sink, tv, Internet etc were all perfect for our short stay. It was a great location for us to explore Normandy. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

The stairs are very steep at the top, so be aware if you can't walk very well.

Perfect location, top-notch amenities.

The studio apartment is located virtually in the center of Bayeux, with the Tourist Information office, a grocery store, and several boulangeries, patisseries, and restaurants a few steps away, along with a laundromat on the ground floor of the building. Parking is free overnight and on Sunday, with a small charge during daytime hours. The apartment is more spacious than we expected, and quite quiet due to being 3 floors up. The kitchen is well equipped - even has a dishwasher; the bathroom has a separate WC, leaving plenty of room for the shower, sink, heated towel rack, and toiletry storage. The only outside views are via skylights, but it is possible to see the unusual cathedral from the living and sleeping areas. Besides being centrally located in Bayeux (and close to the magnificent 1066 tapestry), the apartment is within easy reach of the five D-Day beaches, the American, British, and German cemeteries, and the numerous museums and monuments related to 6 June 1944 and the months following.

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (American 4th floor), with a rather steep set of somewhat narrow stairs for the last flight.

Loved Bayeux and once we overcame the snags I would highly recommend the accommodations.

It was very charming and well situated to restaurants and tours.

Perhaps it was given online, but I was not aware that access would be 3 flights up of very narrow stairs. It would have been helpful if we had been more informed about access from the train station i.e. how far it was, how best to travel, right near the visitor center. The cab driver was even confused as the flat was above a laundry and we walked around the whole building before we located the entrance. Accessing the wifi was very problematic with an extremely long password and a need to be right by the box behind the sofa to make it work. Entrance to the flat was by a code so we had no interaction with the owner until we could finally make contact through the booking.com website (only after we were able to get help from one of our tour guides via internet and local phone). Once connected, the owner was very responsive to meet us at the flat to ensure we could set up the internet connection.

cuddly place in the very centre

the place is cuddly and the location is perfect. staff was nice they came quickly for the shower problem.

it was not perfectly cleaned, the shower clogged, the place was damp. there was not A/c but only two blowers (sadly this summer was terribly hot)

Exceptional

Everything was great. The clean and cozy apartment is very small, but perfectly equipped and placed in a great location - quiet place right next to the city centre, near to beautiful historic buildings, restaurants, bakeries, shops (carrefour and pharmacy 1 minute walk). We stayed 4 nights with the family (2+2) and visited all the Dday beaches and nice museums, it’s really strategic place where we have always loved return to and spent evenings in beautiful Bayeux. The apartment is ok for family and I believe that for 2 it must be perfect! Parking is paid 9am- 7pm, but since we usually left after breakfast and returned in the evening, it was free for us. We also used paid washing machines in the ground floor - it’s not too expensive and it’s pretty easy to use, so sufficient.

Cozy top floor apartment with a view

Very cozy apartment with stylish interior. Well equipped kitchen.. Everythin nice and tidy. Easy check in, no problems at all. And so nice to arrive to an already done bed. Towels are also included. The location is phenomenal and with a view over the roof tops since it is the top apartment.

Very hot in the apartment since it is the top one in the building. And our visit was in the middle of July. Got way better after opening the windows but I would prefer it somewhat cooler. We did not find any AC.

The apartment was in a perfect location for visiting Bayeux. It was obvious that some thought had been put into helping guests -- there was fresh milk in the fridge, adequate toilet paper, paper towels, and a parking time clock for the car window. The heat, Wi-Fi and hot water all worked well. The codes made entering very easy. We did not meet the hosts, but they were communicative and helpful in a timely manner in writing.

The apartment needed more attention to cleanliness. There were cobwebs in the stairs, crumbs on the coffee table and the kitchen chairs, crusted food between the tines of the forks (I rewashed all of them before using) and mold (or mold stains) in the bathtub. The shower curtain really needs changed. We probably would not be interested in staying here again or recommending this place to friends because of the cleanliness and the stairs. We've lived in Europe for many years, so we are accustomed to stairs that don't meet American safety codes, but these entry stairs were about the steepest and narrowest I've ever seen even in Europe for use by the general public. This would not be an appropriate apartment for very small children or for anyone with the slightest mobility issues or for anyone with a substantial amount of luggage. If the moldy-looking bathtub and shower curtain were changed and the apartment cleaned with more attention to details (like making sure the forks are actually clean between the tines and the crumbs cleaned), this would make a great place to stay in Bayeux for those who can handle very steep and narrow stairs. (To be clear, we could manage the stairs, but many people who are otherwise fairly mobile would not be able to manage them safely with luggage in hand. A warning about the stairs in advertising would be appropriate if that has not already been added to the description of the place since the time we booked.)

Es algo justo para 4 personas y, al ser el techo abuhardillado, en algunas zonas el techo es más bajo. El último tramo de escaleras es un poco dificultoso, sobretodo si tienes problemas de movilidad o traes equipaje pesado.
