"Domus Solis San Pietro" is a charming apartment located on the 5th floor of an elegant building in the impressive Piazza del Risorgimento, the heart of Prati district in Rome.
This bright apartment enjoys an excellent location: it is just a few steps from St. Peter's Basilica, whose dome is visible from almost every room , giving our guests a breathtaking view of the Eternal City; the main attractions of the City such as Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona , Spanish Steps , Pantheon, Trevi Fountain , Lungotevere and Piazza del Popolo, are within easy walking distance; the famous Via Ottaviano and Via Cola di Rienzo, heart of roman shopping, are just a few meters; subway and buses are just there and allows you to easily visit the rest of the City.
The area surrounding the " Domus Solis San Pietro" is full of all sorts of facilities: restaurants, bars, wine bars, wine bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, post offices , etc. .
Bambin Gesù and Santo Spirito hospitals are at short distance .
Each suite has sound proof windows and is equipped with air conditioning, heating, TV , wireless internet , tea and coffee making facilities , hair dryer and a modern private ensuite bathroom.
Bed linen and towels are provided free of charge .

We really enjoyed the location—close to all the places we planned to visit, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The host and team responded promptly to our messages, which made the stay even smoother.

Whats good: location for Vatican and nearby Rome is perfect. Close to lots of groceries, restaurants and some shopping. Place is clean and quiet from the street noise which can be loud and busy. Warm and comfy.
Whats not good: Parking here is terrible if you have a rental car. Garage parking available but expensive and unreliable. You can be in bad luck and have renters above you that are loud and inconsiderate. Informed property manager but they have no control over the other units. Elevator is terrible and definitely not recommended for elderly or persons with disability. Requires stairs!
Easily improvable: coffee maker is limited to one mokka maker so you need to spend so much time making coffee for 6 people. A 30 euro drip coffee maker would be an easy fix. Cups, glasses, plates, pots and pans could use updating. Some bedrooms needs new pillows.

The hosts were so communicative and made everything very easy. The location is amazing, the space is perfect for a larger group, and we loved everything about it. Thank you for making our trip great!

it was ok..... but I did not "love it" ---shower extremely small and bedding just ok...nice that there were plenty of bathrooms just really small showers(and we are not big people)......good location
