We had a place booked and they canceled at the last minute! Booked this because we needed someplace to stay. VERY happy with this last minute choice. A two minute flat walk to the bus stop where cabs were also available. It was larger than we thought it would be. I gave my daughter the bedroom and I slept on the queen size pull out. The place was large enough to leave it pulled out and still get around. Slept like a baby. Clearly it was on older building because the front door was about 20 feet high! When we got it unlocked, the door that opened was about 6 feet! Went up a short flight of stairs that appeared to be made of marble. The door to the room was also short, unique, and just plain fun to go in and out. The windows look into a old courtyard. In the morning we could hear water dripping. It was the apts. across the courtyard watering their plants on the balconies. We left the windows open most of the time. In the evening I went to sleep each night hearing the faint violin music from the restaurants down the street. We had passed the guy several times. We was walking up and down the street playing for coins from the patrons. I made a special trip over to give him a few coins because I enjoyed going to sleep with it every night. Liked the pizza place around the corner. I have never traveled and this was easy to find. The Pantheon is just around the corner. Trevi Fountain was about a half mile away and a pleasant walk. I couldn't have been more pleased.
