Well Of Life Luxury Rooms

This is always the first place we check on our almost annual Croatia visit. So we've had the pleasure of staying several times over the years. Unfortunately it's kind of popular so we don't always get to stay there. It's a 5 minute walk to the old town. Less than 10 minute walk to the waterfront and maybe 20-25 minutes to the ferry port with suitcases in hand. There's a grocery store immediately across the street. Plenty of bakeries and restaurants within 5 minutes of the door yet just out of reach of old town crowds. Plus, the taxi/Uber will take right to the door which any old town rentals can't say. The apartment is roomy with a comfy king sized bed, a small refrigerator and a hot water kettle. Ana the manager is great to deal and the place is always spotless when we arrive. I know this sounds glowing but it is my own feelings. And if we can come back next it will again be the first place we check.

The shower floor (no bathtub) can be a slippery when wet. There is no elevator but you only go up one floor.

Everythings was perfect! The host is the most friendly host I've ever met.

The room is a 5min walk to the centre of Split. Nice big bed.

Despite booking a ‘family room’ in a ‘family friendly hotel’ for two adults and an infant they do not provide a cot. When I asked where they were expecting my son to sleep they simply didn’t reply to my email. We were initially offered a very expensive airport transfer from the manager and ability to leave our bags before the room was ready but when we declined the transfer we were then told we couldn’t leave our bags. Seemed very immature. Breakfast is a five minute walk away at a local restaurant, and whilst this was nice it was hard to make use of if you had planned day trips as the earliest they accommodate you is 8am and do not do take away boxes.
