Basic, comfortable ground floor flat in central Keswick

Good location - very central. River running outside the bedroom was lovely. Mini chairs hidden in the dining table. Well stocked kitchen.

Shower (Mira) has low water pressure. A recycling bin in the parking area would have been nice.

even after enquiring about the mattress bad reviews it hadn’t been changed was uncomfortable and so was the sofa. sofa was also dirty.Shower water pressure was terrible

found the shower wasn’t draining well and pulled the drain out and caked up with hair. needs removing as a few weeks hair in there.

The location was perfect walking distance from the town and amazing views from the balcony over the river and Fitz park and Latrigg. Parking was available. The place was lovely and warm. We arrived early and was greeted by the neighbour and the owner and was able to enter the property earlier than 5pm. Good WiFi. Would recommend and revisit as value for money in Keswick.

As mentioned in previous reviews the springs on the right side of the mattress can be felt. A new mattress or topper is definitely needed. You would expect enough toilet paper and bin liners for your stay, I get that it's self catering but in every other place we have stayed the basics have always been supplied. Down the side of the bed by the headboard the dust was so thick. Two many chairs in the lounge and no where to put luggage. The checkout time of 9am is too early. Having said all this which I was already aware from previous reviews we would go back again
