Fabulous location
Our ‘quiet weekend trip’ coincided with two birthday parties taking place, complete with some very happy, rather drunk merriment and even a karaoke (which could not be heard from our bedroom.

The food was very good.
The situation was very good.
The room was disappointing. There was a mixture of shabby furniture. There was only one bedside table. The lighting was poor.
The refreshments were meagre. We had to ask for tea bags. The cups were stained.
When we arrived we weren’t offered help to take our bags to the room (I’m 78 and my husband 82)
