Air conditioner didn’t work properly (was more of a fan that real AC) and the elevator was out of service during the whole stay. Its a rectangle room with a twin bed and sofa couch, the pictures can be a bit misleading but overall the location was great and the stay decent.

Fantastic location just around the corner from the charming winding street Rue Saint-Antoine in the heart of Le Suquet the old quarter of Cannes. The apartment is situated behind the church & is spectacularly clean, spacious & modern throughout. The host Maui was extremely professional and messaged us prior to arrival making check in really easy. Quick to respond to messages and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs

Nothing.

I was charged €100 just because I accidentally left the keys inside the room—an outrageous amount for such a simple issue. Even worse, the host shouted at me aggressively, which was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. First of all, the door should be designed in a way that allows access even if the keys are left inside. This is a basic safety and convenience feature in most accommodations. It's unreasonable to blame the guest for something that could easily be prevented with proper infrastructure. Second, even if a charge was necessary (which is debatable), €100 is absolutely excessive. To make matters worse, the host refused to give me my luggage unless I paid, which felt like being held hostage. This place is a complete rip-off, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the stress—stay somewhere that treats guests with basic respect and fairness.

Very satisfied with price, cleanliness and location.

Very clean apartment and newly renovated. Loved the location in the old town and even though it was high up on the hill, it was a ten minute walk to the Palais and there is a Nanette for the way up. The host was communicative and helpful.

The apartment is minimally appointed, but when we requested wine glasses, the host provided them. Would suggest they add a coffee maker and a few more things to the kitchen.

Could & Should be Better

Superb Location. Nice period building just a few steps from to a wide selection of fabulous restaurants & bars.

Lift was broken. Air conditioning in bedrooms so unbelievably loud & poorly maintained (leaked water), even on standby I couldn't sleep, so I had to find the fuse box to stop the awful noise. Poor amenities in the kitchen, sparsely decorated with cheap worn IKEA furniture - and just generally a bit run down, under invested & dissapointing, so not particularly comfortable to hang out in the apartment. Needs investment in new furnishings. Only a couple of towels provided. No prior indication that access to the property is via a pedestrianised road, so wasted lots of time circling in the car, only to learn that we would have to go to a parking building 5 minutes walk away.

A great way to stay in a beautiful, quiet part of Cannes.

As soon as me and my coworkers arrived at the building, we messaged Mauro, and he came down shortly with the keys for all of us. He gave us a tour of all the rooms we were booking, and making our deposit via CC was fast and easy. The building is in a beautiful residential area in a really pretty historic part of town, with a couple of cafes right outside the door. Although the cafes are packed every night, I didn't find noise to be an issue. I found the bed to be comfortable. On a major note, I had locked my keys in my room one night and had to stay with my friend in another room. I messaged Mauro the next morning, who was able to stop by in the morning to let me in, in time for me not to miss my event at the conference. Thanks Mauro, for going out of your way!

I'm not a picky traveler, and I do really like the location and "feel" of staying at this particular place, so I hope they attend to a few things in the future to make it really great. Although I am taking into consideration that this is a reasonably priced stay in a very expensive town (and during a VERY high demand conference we were attending), the place needs a little bit of preventative upkeep to keep it from falling into disrepair. My room felt that it needed a little bit of extra elbow grease- some small items are starting to show disrepair, such as a loose doorknob that actually started to come off (on the inside, luckily). I also didn't feel that my shower was thoroughly cleaned before I arrived, and is starting to show some mold. Also, the elevator was out of order during our stay (could have just been a fluke that week, who knows.) so we had to lug our bags up three flights of stairs.

The apartment smelled like cigarette smoke all week. Bathroom set up was odd, hard to wash face without smashing your head on the medicine cabinet/mirror. Air conditioning unit in bedroom was inoperable. Large wardrobe cabinet in bedroom could easily be tipped over.

the location was great!! close to the beach (6 minutes walking) and also close to the bars and restaurants in the old town. Apartment is good for up to 4 persons. The apartment is nicely decorated.

Even though the apartment looked recently renovated and clean, the bathroom had a bit of smell of sewage, so better to keep its door always closed. the air conditioning in the living room sometimes worked, sometimes not.

I enjoyed my stay at Cannes Old Towne Suites and would recommend it to friends and family.

The room was clean and comfortable and the property and neighborhood are super charming - I felt like I had a much more authentic experience here than in some big chain hotel.

The elevator was broken during our stay. I probably wouldn't have used it anyway, but it might have been an issue for other people who can't manage stairs well.

The location is great. it’s right in the heart of old town.

the place smelled. the property was redone but very cheaply. the bathroom smelled of mold and the space is tiny, super tiny. good for one person, max. there was no lamps in the place and it felt very basic. I would not recommend this place.

I had to pay extra 20€ for late checkin. While this is part of the description, I find it a lot On top of that, check out is early and I felt like I was pushed out: twice before the time of my checkin someone came to knock at my door to tell me checkin was coming soon… I wasn’t given Wifi code when arriving and had to ask for it later on (it took me some time to get an answer and since there’s no reception, I had to wait) One of the window shutter wasn’t here, so the light came very early in the morning. There was no soap, no shampoo. Luckily I had mine with me

Excellent location with spacious living/dining area. The living/dining area has wonderful light and a nice view out onto the street. The property was relatively clean except for a huge dust zone behind the bed that stuff kept falling into! It's an easy walk to restaurants and shops, but away from the noise of the high-traffic areas. It's on a beautiful street that leads up to the old church on the hilltop. The host and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall, the furnishings felt very basic and low quality - the couch was very uncomfortable and small, the beds were uncomfortable, the towels were rough, frayed, and had stains on them. It reminded me of furniture we had living as students. The living room was so dark you couldn't read a book at night. On a positive note - I mentioned this to the host and he provided a lamp the next day for us. The bedrooms have nothing on the walls except scuff marks and dents. One bathroom had no towel rack so we had to hang the towel from a hanger on the hot water tank. Overall, there was a lack of attention to basic details for the amount that was charged.

Läget var mycket bra.

Köket hade smutsiga grytor, stekpannor, bestick, slevar och skärbrädor och det saknades en del utrustning för tillagning. Fläkten till spisen var sönder och brandlarmet gick så fort vi skulle koka vatten eller laga något på spisen. Det blev ett himla oljud varje frukost och middag

un très bon séjour dans l'ensemble, avec un appartement confortable et spacieux avec l'essentiel

beaucoup de marbre partout, la grandeur des deux pièces, le confort du lit, mais il manquait des lampes de chevet; j'ai eu quelques difficultés avec les installations de cuisine (plaques à induction, cafetière) mais après quelques explications, cela s'est bien passé. Comme je pensais disposer du studio en duplex présenté sur le site, et situé au rez de chaussé, j'ai été un peu déçue, mais déception de courte durée; l'emplacement est très bien dans le Suquet, et les déplacements sont aisés, avec le petit bus du Suquet; une dame italienne m'a bien dépannée.

l'absence de lampes de chevet car on doit se lever pour éteindre le plafonnier.. autrement, rien de particulièrement rébarbatif; tout était bien pensé, et l'ambiance du quartier est magique. Très peu de distance jusqu'à Cannes, le marché Forville, les bus périphériques, la gare SNCF, les supermarchés, tout est proche et pratique.
