Arllen Fawr is a Grade II listed rural cottage situated on a working farm with great countryside views of the hills and mountains beyond, two miles from the village of Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant and can sleep six people in one four poster double room with en-suite and one family room. There is a family shower room. The rest of the property contains a kitchen, dining room with sitting area and electric fire and sitting room with open fire. To the outside there is off road parking for three cars and a shared front lawned garden with furniture and barbecue. With walks from the door and the Berwyn Mountains nearby, Arllen Fawr is an ideal family cottage for those looking to explore this wonderful area.
Amenities: Oil central heating with electric fire and open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Smart TV with basic Sky, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Additional fuel available to purchase from owner. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 3 cars. Shared use of front lawned garden with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles.

Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant was the location for the successful film, The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain, and more recently the film Nativity 2 starring David Tennant. The village boasts two general stores, a newsagents, a Post Office, a butchers, two pubs, one hotel, one cafe and a fish and chip shop. It is surrounded by lovely countryside, providing walking trails for all abilities including Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall.
