An unforgettable first solo trip-breathtaking views, a beautiful glamping tent, and the kindest host

This was my very first solo trip, and I can confidently say it has been one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve ever had. From the very start, Anne and Sam — the lovely couple who own the place — made me feel so welcome. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. When I couldn’t find a taxi, they didn’t hesitate to offer me a lift, which made all the difference and reassured me as a solo traveler. Their hospitality felt more like staying with old friends than just hosts. The glamping site itself is absolutely stunning. The tent was spacious, cozy, and beautifully set up, with thoughtful touches that made it feel both rustic and luxurious. Waking up to the sound of birds and stepping outside to such breathtaking views of the countryside was something I’ll never forget. The whole area is peaceful and picturesque, with rolling green fields, and fresh air. Anne and Sam really have created a little haven here — a perfect balance of comfort, nature, and genuine care. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already thinking about when I can return. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone, especially if it’s your first solo adventure. It truly felt like home away from home.

Excellent for a family glamping holiday

We stayed here as a family with our daughters aged 6 and 3. The yurts were very clean and cosy, we loved the log burner. The girls loved running in the field doing cartwheels. The kitchen has everything you need e.g hob/ toaster/ kettle/ fridge/freezer. The Toilet and shower were very clean too.

A peace of heaven - at one with nature - restful luxury.

My husband had a birthday. I found 'Off the Grid Gourmet', which is an outstanding eating experience in the great outdoors. Super chef, more quality food than you can cope with. Great company. I needed a place to stay. Anne's 'Heart of the Wye' was 45yds away. It was actually onsite. We stayed in an exceptionally beautiful Yurt. One of x5 yurts available. All wow! Anne brought her style and luxury ideas to each yurt experience. So posh and... the mini log burner was always a winner! Anne was amazingly welcoming, despite our late night arrival. A summer house full to the brim with free tea, coffee (instant or lavazza), fridge, cooking facilities, all sorts of cups, pots, cutlery... everything, in a comfy setting to dine in, if you so wish. It turning out to be a fabulous meeting point where we met like minded people with stories to share. Semi outdoor toilets and showers which were so quirky, clean and fun. Warm water too. Then a more luxurious bathroom for those who wanted the home comforts. Gorgeous shower and space to get ready. Parking was ample. As we walked through the apple orchard full of flowers and trees, we followed a well maintained & lit path to an opening ... the settling for our stay. The view from all yurts was to die for. Rolling hills. And we walked to our Yurt guided by romantic grounded lights, just a touch of wonderfulness x Confirmation we had chosen well. And we were right. The most restful stay....away from reality and hard work.

Fairly far from shops, so need to think ahead. We knew this anyway. Wouldn't change anything else.

Luxurious Glamping in a most beautiful setting.

We loved the thought that went into everything - making this trip a wonderful and excellent experience. All comforts were at the highest level of luxury. Even the long leash that the hosts lent us for our dog was so thoughtful. It made for a very happy young dog in brilliant settings. The toilet and showers were excellent. The kitchen had everything one needed and more and was impeccably clean. We met new people and had the loveliest time over breakfast and one night was up chatting into the wee hours under a starry sky. The fire paraphernalia provided was perfect to enjoy evenings outdoors.

That we had to say Bye to the hosts and their beautiful place.

Gorgeous and cozy!

Everything was wonderful! From the owners to the facilities, everything was perfect! Everything was clean, they had gone above and beyond to create a home away from home. We even got proceso when we arrived and a little tour of the site. The shared kitchen is amazing, soo helpful. It was nice to see other campers cooking up a storm in there and wasn’t a burden to share the area, all the guests were friendly and clean. The tent itself was amazing (I could have stayed forever) the bed was very comfy and the tent was warm, even when the fire wasn’t on. Soooo cozy and lovely decor, we stayed in the meadow tent which was very cute. The views are stunning and the outside area with seating and bbq looked fab. Thank you so much for a wonderful mini break!

Beautiful place best glamping experience ever

It was such a beautiful campsite, the view was spectacular. There was only five yurts with space between so you felt quite secluded. The stove inside kept everyone warm and the hot water bottles were so thoughtful. I really loved the pathways covered in wood chip. We booked glamping but didn't expect how good our experience was and the amazing room.The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. We will come back again.
