The Barn at the Mill

Nice place to stay for up to six people. One double and a toilet and shower downstairs. Double room with en suite upstairs, also a twin bedroom. Friendly host.

Could do with a hair dryer. Also a basic welcome pack of condiments, salt pepper etc. also basic shampoo to go with the body wash. The shower is very precarious without slip mats, needs grab rails at the very least, someone could get hurt. Should advise people to bring their own slip mats for the shower, and tell them there is no hair drier, and to bring their own condiments as non provided. It’s not easy to find, as google maps does not show the exact location, it’s down a farm track off the main road, sign posted if you spot it.

Stunning immaculate absolutely fabulous

Spacious and comfortable at the end of a country lane. Only a few minutes from Oswestry, peaceful with plenty of parking, outside seating BBQ area with an orchard and flower beds. Our host was flexible with our arrival and departure times and responded promptly to our messages. He was really welcoming and gave us a lovely hamper on arrival. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us, well equipped kitchen, wood burner in the living room with lots of board games, books and DVD’s etc. Ella, the dog was so sweet and friendly too.
