    Great location - but you get what you pay for.
    The facility was a guest house, not a hotel so I appreciated the extent the owner went to accommodate me.
    My mistake but arriving mid-day in sleeting rain, I didn’t appreciate a note saying it was closed until 3.00pm and I could leave my case outside (in the rain) until then.

    We loved our stay at Avondale House. On a very cold week, the guest house was so comfortable and warm. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We so enjoyed our additional breakfast in the morning -- it was delicious! The location is central and ideal for exploring Kingussie. The guest house was so peaceful and a lovely atmosphere.

    Perfect for an overnight stop over in the Aviemore area, lovely village with lots of dining options
    Location was perfect for exploring the area, ideal for an overnight pit stop but not for any longer. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent value for money
