L'emplacement calme mais à 15 min de Kuta en scoot, belle vue, reposant, le propriétaire et sa famille sont très gentils et c'est parfait pour des vacances avec des enfants. On peut louer des scooters directement sur place.

The property is exactly as described, a simple single room in the heart of Mawun. It’s a great spot to connect with locals and away from the usual tourist crowd. Mawun Beach, just a 10‑minute walk, is truly a hidden gem.

Unfortunately, my experience with the host, Mohamed, was unpleasant. We had agreed via WhatsApp on a round‑trip ride from Mawun to Kuta for 250K, a price I confirmed in advance to avoid misunderstandings. At the end of the night, after I paid the agreed amount, he reacted aggressively and insisted I owed 350K instead. Even with the WhatsApp messages as proof, he did not change his tone. Two Italian guests nearby told me they had faced a similar issue with him and chose another driver. For the remainder of my stay, the host was cold and delayed breakfast service. It’s disappointing, as the location and beach are wonderful, but the host’s behavior left a negative impression. Mohamed, I hope you can improve the way you treat guests my friend.
