Village Corner Homestay

One of the best places I’ve stayed in Indonesia! We had a wonderful stay here. The room was one of the best we’ve seen in Indonesia: beautifully maintained, very clean, comfortable, and you can really tell that everything has been put together with a lot of love and care. The shower was great, with hot water, which is always a bonus! The family is absolutely lovely and welcoming, making the stay feel even more special. The breakfast was also outstanding — genuinely one of the highlights of the accommodation, with delicious food and a great start to the day. The location is ideal if you have your own scooter, as it’s less than 8 minutes from the centre of Kuta. The homestay is located a little uphill, and the access road is partialy unpaved, so getting there can be a bit challenging if you rely on taxis or other transport. However, this is part of the experience in Indonesia, and having a scooter makes it very easy. Excellent value for money, a lovely family, an amazing room, and fantastic breakfast. Highly recommended!

Personally, there was nothing I disliked about my stay. The only thing worth mentioning is that the access road is unpaved and a little challenging, so it might be less convenient for people without their own scooter. However, this didn’t bother me at all, and I thought the location was great.

Very lovely hosts!! The room was spacious and clean, you had everything you need.

If you're not a super skilled driver, it can be challenging getting up the hill.

Clean - Nature - Hospitable - good breakfast just omelette could have been fried more - helped me arrange a taxi to my next place - met some villagers at the same time who were running their wedding ceremony - kids were funny and respectful

Nice guy running the joint. Very cheap. Breakfast was an omelette and a banana pancake. Only stayed one night. There was hot water, the a/c worked, the drains in the bathroom drained, and the door locked.

The location was steeply up an old, bumpy dirt road, 30+ minute walk from Kuta center. The room had some black mold on the ceiling.
