Clara house

It’s a small guesthouse where you feel at home and that is priceless. Annie will take care of you, she’s so nice helpful and thoughtful. It’s quiet, clean, and confortable. It’s also in a really good location at walking distance from the center. Other travellers were also really nice so we would have breakfast all together. So this place is a real highlight of my Kuta experience and will definitely be coming back as soon as I can!

It’s not negative but some travellers need to have this in mind : it’s a small budget accomodation in a non western country. So you have to match your expectations to this : no hot water, basic room, no amenities, sometimes mosquitos, chicken walking next to you for breakfast. If you feel it’s not your vibe, just book a more expensive real big hotel.

Annie is the most kind and welcoming host, super sweet, always ready to help. We absolutely loved our stay because of her!

The location is very good and quiet, the staff is kind, and the breakfast was decent. AC and wifi worked well.

The bathroom is a little dirty and there was no hot water. Mosquitos got into the room easily, could really use a mosquito repellent of some kind in the room. I woke up one morning with 7 mosquito bites. The bedsheets were black which I was not a fan of because you could not really tell how clean they were.
