Wonderful place and people

It’s takes you 200 years back in time, with modern facilities. Silverware, very convenient base for exploring the nearby attractions without breaking the bank. Isabella the owner, sent her son to pick me up from the station, and dropped me off at the bus stop, prepared a lovely breakfast. Genuine hospitality and care was evident in all encounters.

The character of the building

Isabella was very welcoming and helpful. The villa had a lot of character and the room had a good view.

Some bread at breakfast, though this could have been our fault as we didn't ask.

Great (antique) place with stunning view

We (a dutch couple from the Netherlands) have spent here two nights. The place is a real villa from the 1800’s and looks that way. Really great and on a mountain so you have a stunning view over Livorno. The host is very kind and especially very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful

The one thing we were missing was some cooling down comfort like a ceiling fan of an airconditioning. The temperature was around 35 degrees outside and in the bedroom it was the same. This made the nights somewhat uncomfortable. And a chair in the bedroom would have been nice (to sit on, to easily tighten the shoes or to put some clothes on at night).

Übernachten in einer historischen Villa, herrlicher Fernblick von Livorno bis La Spezia, gutes Frühstück mit Silberbesteck, Ruhelage und trotz Sommerhitze kühl auch ohne Klimaanlage. Eigener Parkplatz.

Die Installationen im Bad sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Alles sehr gut, gerne wieder

Die Location auf dem Hügel in einem 200Jahre alten Haus mit entsprechender Einrichtung, hohen Decken und einem unglaublichen Blick auf Livorno: Was ganz besonderes. Isabella ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Ich musste morgens zur Fähre, das sind nur 20 Minuten, ein Lunchpaket lag im Kühlschrank bereit.

Sehr gut, wunderbarer Ausblick, außergewöhnliches Interior. Sehr schön!!! Und Isabella hat uns sehr nett und unkompliziert empfangen, die Geschichte des Hauses erzählt… Tipps fürs Essen, für die Fahrt zum Hafen…. Ein Traum! Würden wiederkommen

Isabella è gentilissima e disponibile. La casa è un gioiellino d’altri tempi, immerso nel verde, con vista mare. Fuori dal centro città ma comodissimo da raggiungere. Colazione ottima, fatta in un salone degno di un film di Sofia Coppola! Consiglio

Mooie locatie

De locatie was geweldig met een prachtig zicht op Livorno en de Middelandse Zee en ook het personeel waas zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het onbijt was goed.

Probleem was een beetje dat er geen airco in de kamer aanwezig was, waardoor het erg (te) warm was in de kamer. Eeen goede (stille) fan of plafond fan zou een goede oplossing kunnen zijn.

La proprietara è gentile e disponibile. La posizione è buona, vicina al santuario di Montenero e con vista mare.

Non ci sono zanzariere, non c'è aria condizionata, le lenzuola non erano pulite, la biancheria è datata. Il bagno fuori dalla camera è scomodo e per arrivarci si incontrano gli altri ospiti. In bagno mancavano le monodosi che di solito offrono gli alberghi, non c'era shampoo. La colazione pur essendo servita con argenteria e servizi d'epoca è da migliorare perché consiste in torte confezionate, barattoli di marmellata condivisi con chissà quante altre persone etc. Le finestre non si chiudono bene, in camera entrano luce e rumori. La villa sarebbe da ristrutturare. Non accessibile per disabili.

frisch gekochte Eier wären schön gewesen, ansonsten Frühstück gut, Gastgeberin Isabella sehr nett, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend (mille grazie), sehr ruhig gelegen (15 Minuten Autofahrt ins Zentrum), kostenloser Parkplatz vor dem Haus, wunderbare Natur

La vue sur la mer depuis notre chambre et la disponibilité de notre hôtesse.

Pas de frigo dans la chambre, la salle de bain à l’extérieur de la chambre, le petit-déjeuner n’était pas de qualité et pour accéder à la villa, la route très étroite. La bâtisse est très vieille.
