This delightful, character cottage is situated in the village of Hinderwell, and sleeps three people in two bedrooms.
Mill Cottage is a cosy, semi-detached cottage in Hinderwell village. With two bedrooms, a double and a single, it can sleep three comfortably. There is also a fitted kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with woodburner and a shower room. Outside there is roadside parking and parking available in local pub car park, and a delightful garden with furniture. Please note: Dogs are not allowed upstairs. Mill Cottage is a comfortable holiday base, ideal for a couple or small family. This property accepts a minimum two-night booking. This property allows one well behaved pet, please ensure they stay downstairs only. This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of £150.

Town: Hinderwell is a small, lively village close to the fishing villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay. Hinderwell was mentioned in the Domesday Book as Hildrewell, a derivation of Hilda's Well, named for the Abbess of Whitby who was travelling through the parish in a drought and was asked to intercede. Her prayers were answered when a spring appeared near the sight of the present Parish Church, and this spring has continued to flow from the hillside to this day. The village is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful countryside, and walks, cycle ways, gliding, horse riding and fishing are all well catered for in the area. Whitby is seven miles away and the town has a rich and varied heritage waiting to be discovered. This is a fabulous holiday base.
