Great location for a last minute break. Lots of room, comfortable beds and perfect location near harbour area. Once parked we did not use the car, but walked to Runswick Bay along Cleveland Way for coffee and swim in the sea.
Shower was a nightmare. Was either cold or hot. Would have been worse if you had young children as would not have been safe. Could have been cleaner & pots at front door full of weeds, so just gives a slightly neglected feel to entrance. Would have been nice to have a bistro table & chairs to sit outside. These issues would not stop us staying again, but if they were sorted would make it a pretty perfect house 😊

Bright, airy and well equipped.
Shower didn’t work consistently. Many of the lamps did not have lightbulbs in. Accommodation across several floors.

wonderful location, spacious and light cottage given the topography of the village.
Cottage was dirty and tired. Some basics missing including adequate tea towels and hand soap in kitchen. The shower pressure was so low it was unusable. We weren't surprised to notice that the cottage is on the market. It feels like it hadn't been looked after.
