This calm and comfortable studio, renovated in 2016, is a perfect "pied à terre" for a couple.
Sunny and ideally located, close to Garibaldi square, place du Pin, the Old Nice - 10 mn from the beaches and and never far from urban transport.
If you are here for convention, the Nice Acropolis is 1 stop on the tramway, so 5 minutes door to door.
The building dates back to the XIX century and there is no elevator.

The apartment is well equipped & the location is excellent with bars, restaurants, groceries, beaches, transport etc. all within a few minutes walk. The hosts are extremely helpful & so nice. We absolutely loved our time in Nice as well as exploring surrounding areas.

The central location of this property makes it the perfect stay for exploring Nice. Frédérique and Olivier were gracious hosts, helping with our luggage and dinner reservations. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed our 4 weeks in this quiet studio near Garibaldi Sq on the edge of Vieux Nice, minutes walk from everything: Nice old and new, the trams, buses 100 east to Monaco, Menton and many hikes (Eze, Cap d'Ail...) and 15 to St Jean Cap Ferrat, one of the best breads anywhere (we lived in Paris for a year...) at Bourdonnat around the corner etc.
Just notice 2 things: yes, it is a (good) Murphy bed in the photos, and there are some 70 steps up fetching that bread or croissants for breakfast on the balcony! At 75, I had no problem with either :-)

This was our third time in Nice and it topped the previous two. Earlier we stayed in the more touristy Jean-Médicin district which we also thoroughly enjoyed. However, having explored a lot of Nice we have come to love the Port and Old Town area the most which is why we found Frédérique and Oliviers gorgeous little studio being ideally located in relation to both. Situated on the top floor of a quaint old building it has a beautiful big balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard and is very well equipped with everything one may ever need making it feel like a true home away from home. One of the nicest discoveries on this trip was Place du Pin located just on the back of the building with tons of bustling cafes and restaurants. This small square is somewhat off the beaten track and not easily found by the tourists which makes it into a wonderful authentic french/niçoise experience. The studio is very close to the Old Town and a 10-min walk from the beach and one can utilise the numerous bike stations in the area to get to anywhere else within a short period of time. We truly enjoyed our week here and cannot wait to be back!
