Bad
-Location was in a tourist destination (tour rose) which some may see as a plus, however it also meant it is very busy with tour groups, school trips, etc walking around and crowding the building. If staying in the tour rose is important, then another option might be the adjoining and newly completed hotel (https://www.mihotel.fr/accueil) which is similarly located but has more privacy and was cheaper during the time we were there.
The apartment itself was large with high ceilings. Two things to consider if staying in the summer are that there is no air-conditioning or fan, so the internal temperature was around 26+ Celsius according to the thermostat. Also, the apartment is located over a square in old Lyon, so it is quite noisy at night and opening windows is not an option due to noise.
Overall the property is not a professionally run place and as a result the guest experience is significantly compromised:
-Multiple additional fees are demanded after booking, for example depending on the time of day or day of the week of check in (none applied to me, but I felt this was deceptive and dishonest)
-The owner did not provide any check-in details. I emailed, phoned and used the app to contact the owner before arrival and received no reply. I should note that we were checking in around 8:30 pm. Eventually, once I was already at the property the owner did respond via app message to provide the name and number of a different person who would let me into the apartment. However that person was not initially answering the number provided. When I messaged the owner to tell them the person was not picking up the owner did not reply.
-The woman who came to let us in with her partner was lovely and tried to help as much as she could. Unfortunately, she had not been told of our arrival and the apartment was not ready or cleaned from the last guest who presumably had left in the afternoon before our arrival. She also didn't have a set of keys. She asked us to give her and her partner 30 minutes to somehow find a set of keys and clean the place. True to her word, she phoned 30 minutes later and provided access - although I wondered how clean the place could be after such a short amount of time.
-Two days after check-out from the apartment I received a message from Booking in which the owner claimed 250 euros in damage to the property, in relation to the sofa.

Good
(1) . The beautiful bathtub was not in an enclosed room. It was visible from the front door. There was no way to use the tub without everyone in the apartment seeing you. If you are alone or just a couple, it is fine. We were there with our 16-year-old twins. So no one could use the tub.
(2) . The master bedroom did not have a door. The walls entering the master bedroom were all covered with mirrors. There was no privacy. My teenagers did not want to walk in on my husband or me dressing.

Falta de limpieza. Ruido de los locales de la calle. Escalera de acceso incómoda de subir con maletas. Si vais 4, la zona de ducha no está separada por una puerta del dormitorio principal. Muchas cosas por mejorar.

L’appartement a beaucoup de cachet. Il est spacieux, idéal pour un séjour en famille à 4.
Il faisait extrêmement froid à notre arrivée. Comme l’appartement est spacieux, il a fallu au moins deux heures pour le chauffer.
La télécommande de la télé ne fonctionnait pas.
Très bruyant dans la rue.

Emplacement en plein cœur du Vieux Lyon, baby-foot et grandes chambres. Bonne literie et déco sympa.
Un peu déçus car on nous avait dit qu’aucun lit bébé n’était disponible pour notre séjour. Nous avons donc dû nous organiser pour prendre le nôtre et le transporter du parking à l’appartement et nous en avons trouvé un dans une des armoires de l’appartement durant notre séjour…
Pas assez de papier toilette pour la durée du séjour.
La baignoire sur les pierres c’est super beau mais apparemment pas pratique pour nettoyer car nous avons trouvé (d’un simple regard) pas mal de cheveux-poils, un reste de savonnette et même un sparadrap usagé entre les pierres..

Davantage de points positifs que négatifs mais tout de même à relever :
-Bruit très tôt le matin (mais bon, emplacement au cœur de la vieille ville donc on a rien sans rien)
-Travaux au marteau piqueur à 2m50 sur la façade d’en face (pas de bol et pas la faute des proprios)
-pas de couteaux pour les repas alors que suffisamment de fourchettes et cuillères ->on a pas compris le concept !)
-Pas de produit pour lave vaisselle (ça casse les pieds de devoir aller acheter ce genre de choses en vacances alors que ça coute rien d’en fournir!)
Papier wc de basse qualité et en trop petite quantité (alors que ça coute pas grand chose de mettre un papier un peu mieux et ça casse aussi les pieds de devoir acheter eu PQ en vacances 😅!!!)

Le cadre historique, grande et agréable pièce de séjour , propreté
Aménagent (imho) uniquement pour couple avec maximum enfant en bas âge (chambre parentale sans porte), peu de linge de maison (2gr et 2pt serviettes pour 4jrs pour 4pers), 2pq, pas de quoi cuisiner max réchauffer des plats, le baby-foot était HS (2 poignées cassées), 2 luminaires HS, ramassage poubelles vers 6h00 (quartier de restaurants) chambre parentale et bruits arrière-cuisine resto chambre enfant (jusqu’à 23h), pas d’accueil mais c’est annoncé dans l’annonce apparemment (pour moi c’est une première en +- une vingtaine de gîtes)

Wirklich eine schöne Lage, besser geht es in der Altstadt nicht.
Der Nachteil der Lage ist, dass es bis um Mitternacht laut ist von der Straße und von einer Bar direkt unterhalb der Wohnung im ersten Stock. Die Wohnung ist zwar groß, aber die Ausstattung eher minimalistisch und in die Jahre gekommen. Eine Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen wollte sich in den spärlich eingerichteten Räumen leider nicht einstellen. Das bereitgestellte Shampoo und Duschbad war ausgesprochen sparsam doziert.

La localisation est parfaite en plein vieux Lyon au pied de tout dans une bâtisse d’histoire
Le bruit jusqu’à 1h tous les soirs , il est impossible de dormir dans la chambre parentale. En parlant de cette chambre, ce n’en est pas une elle est ouverte sur la pièce principale sans porte ni rideau de même que la baignoire d’où vous êtes visibles de la cuisine ou du couloir .
Si il s’agit d’un logement pour couple quel intérêt d’une chambre en plus ???? Pour aller dans la salle de bain il faut passer dans cet espace
