Honorê - Suite Barre

The temperature in Lyon was very high when we arrived. Despite the heat, the apartment was very comfortable because the AC and a fan were already on to keep the space cool. This is an elegantly renovated, well-maintained, and very clean unit. Excellent for up to 4 people. Carine, the manager, provided excellent service, checking on us before arrival to ensure we have the information to enter. In addition, she was very responsible in answering any of my questions. I will definitely return to this apartment. It's in a great location within walking distance to main attractions. The unit faces a large courtyard in the back which makes it very quiet to rest.

The location was excellent, in the center of everything. The apartment was decent. Having the toilet and the sink/bathroom separate was inconvenient, but managable. The apartment was clean and tidy, all we needed was provided. The building itself is old and hence worn out and had that old building smell, but again that is normal for old buildings.

The toilet and sink/bathroom being separate, the oldness of the building, the key being in a different location (need to walk 5 minutes to get it and drop it)

Located near some good restaurants. Shower room was nicely fitted out with good water pressure. Host was very communicative.

Whilst the general location was good, the apartment door is right next to a tobacco shop which meant there were constantly undesirable people hanging outside the door which made us feel uneasy. The fit out looked good from afar but is poorly executed and not clean. Facilities are not as described with aircon not fully functioning, no clothes drying racks. There was also no lighting in the stairwell so we had to climb the stairs using our phone torch to light the way. Toilet had a constant horrible smell. Kitchen fit out was not fit for purpose with dishwasher door not able to open due to the oven door.
