A pleasant little hideaway that was centrally located for easy access to Lanzerac wine estate as well as the town centre

Property was very centrally located and while quaint had modern bathroom facilities and was clean. Staff were also very friendly. Lindsay and team did a good job of ensuring we had what we needed.

Nothing to dislike really. If you want super modern facilities this one is not for you but if you are happy with a quaint home away from home that is clean and tidy while also value for money, then this one is it.

It’s my 3rd time staying here. I love the location as it is so central but quiet. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service is excellent and I love the breakfast.

The room we were giving was sub standard with a blind that was broken and we mentioned this to the manager there. All the staff members we spoke to about the room said "we have the worst room on the property". The room we stayed in was nothing like the pictures advertised on Booking.com.

Stellenbosch is always a pleasant place to stay - we enjoyed the restaurant(s) and vibe in town.

We didn't have breakfast, so no opinion. Location is perfect and convenient and safe to walk to restaurants etc. Parking on the premises also a big plus. Staff very friendly. Bathroom was fine

The building is a little bit tired - needs a deep/steam clean. Garden needs a hand - the water feature in front isn't running and the water is dirty.

Lovely setting, though it didn’t justify the price.

The location is excellent, and being able to walk around and enjoy nature was a real highlight. We were also able to check-out at 11am vs. the original 10am check-out.

While the location and natural surroundings were wonderful, there were a few areas for improvement: There was no alternative milk option provided, which is quite standard nowadays given varying dietary preferences. The floors in our room creaked with every step, which made it difficult to move around quietly or get uninterrupted rest. The pillows were extremely soft, almost flat making it feel like I was sleeping directly on the mattress.

Rooms needed bottled water. That was a huge lack. There was a glass jug in the main entrance hall with glasses. But that same concept should be mimicked in each room. Walking down the hallway to get water in the middle of the night is not ideal. That was a frustration. Rooms also need more coat hangers.
