Welcoming host and staff. Delicious apple tart! Perfect location.
If I were to nitpick it would be the hairdryer. Just a note too - unfortunately on our second evening they forgot to switch off the music which was playing downstairs so we could hear it from both of our rooms the whole night.

Very comfortable beds and big room. Very good staff. The host is very friendly and goes out of her way to make sure you are happy and accommodate requests. Great to have a pool in summer heat. Good value for central Stellenbosch.
It is quite dark with the decor all black & grey. Lighter colours would be an improvement. It's a little tired in areas, a few tiles missing in the shower fo example. But overall a good choice.

The staff were wonderful.
Breakfast seating was too communal for my liking, Having to sit a long table with noisy, imposing guests was not how I would choose to start my day.
The house/hotel is well appointed and service level high. But rooms are noisy from the communal area and kitchen.
