This place truly deserves eleven out of ten points to do it justice.

From the owner to every single member of the staff, everyone was exceptionally friendly, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The property is immaculately maintained, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail and pride. Breakfast was excellent: high quality, varied every day, and served with remarkable attentiveness. The team goes out of their way to make sure guests feel well looked after, and even for unusual or special requests there is always someone available and happy to help. Communication was smooth and flawless at all times. We honestly could not have wished for a more beautiful place to stay.

One of the most wonderful places we’ve ever stayed at

We loved everything here! The location next to Stellenbosch centre and the botanical garden is very convenient. Rooms are big (we got to get a peak in three rooms), very well equipped and the interior design in the whole house is unique. Everything is spotless clean. The ”living room” downstairs is a nice place to relax after a day out and there’s a wide selection of drinks availble. We appreciated the breakfast (every day a bit different and eggs prepared as you wish - this is a big plus). On top of this, the staff is extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Big thanks for Margie, Triza and Jollie - you made our stay very special. We’ve travelled a lot and can highly recommend this boutique guesthouse!

As a boutique guesthouse, all rooms are some different. Our room (#9) had no real walls to the bathroom, which gave less privacy than you may want for toilet visits. It was a glass wall with the middle of the glass frosted and open on top and next to the floor.

Margie and her team were exceptional hosts, always ensuring that we were happy and comfortable!! Building site next door

Location Breakfast was find but can get odd as you’re sharing a big table with random people There are some drinks available, overpriced

There’s a huge scale building site right next door, if you’re booking this to relax by the pool, know you won’t be able to chill there’s drilling nonstop. Pool area can be quickly overcrowded It’s an old house - We could hear each step from the person in the room above us. Room was quite small. I think you can get better value and nicer place for less in the area

Excellent location for town centre

The location was wonderful, just a short and safe walk away from the heart of Stellenbosch.The parking was easy too. We did not have breakfast but it did look amazing. The whole place was decorated beautifully and we all loved our rooms. If we are lucky enough to return, I would definitely like to stay again.

There was confusion with our final bill , but was soon sorted out .
