There was no cleaning service provided once we checked in . The bathroom had no proper outlet less of inventory was there to tackle unseen circumstances.

DISASTER

Nothing Check in didnt work we had to go to other hotel at 4 AM!!! In the other hotel personal woke us up way before check out time

0 organisation 3 Hours waited for the key that was promised way before 14:00 None of the personal staff could speak english or german stayed 2 hours on the phone with the menagment just so they can find our room and the key … no sorry said not at all

Good location that’s it.

Outdated, the shower 🚿 doesn’t go down through. Kitchen trash 🗑️ was full and not taken away, the bed or bedsheet was a little bit itchy I was forced to put my shirt on and sleep. I will stop here as not everything is bad.

An utter disgrace and disgusting

The location was tolerable

We are a couple traveling Europe for the month of August and we have stayed in many hotels, hostels and apartments over the years but this has been the worst. Based on my past reviews I am very Understanding but this was revolting. Where to begin, the entrance and hallways leading to the room have not been cleaned in months there is rubbish everywhere, upon entering the room we were met with a wave of heat as there is no air conditioning. Which means at night the windows are open and this allows the concert of trains passing to roar all night long. The bathroom had dirty sink /toilet and the shower curtain was broken and covered in mold. The bedroom had an unbearable creaky bed frame and a mattress that had dried blood stains. The kitchen had a faulty hob cooker and the leather couch was disgustedly sticky and dirty. The bedroom lockers were broken and falling apart like most of the furniture. The only thing that was relatively positive was the location which is directly across from the oerlikon train station. The area surrounding the accommodation was lovely and it reflects even further the revolting environment the apartments provided. If we weren’t traveling in the high point of tourist season we would have left but unfortunately we had no other option. Finally through our whole trip we will stay the same duration in 8 city’s across Europe and this one is the most expensive which really adds an even bigger blow to our dissatisfaction. Minus 5 stars!!! STAY AWAY

We had a booking for 3 peole but received a 2 person room with even no additional pillow.. and just "sorry but there is nothing we can do" Room was also dirty, showerhead was leaking, toilet was running.. kettle and hairdryer were not working. Location next to the large train road- train going past in every 10 min 24/7

Usually great value but lower end of quality. I stay there a lot.

Good value, generally spacious rooms. If you are on the railway side its quite noisy if you have the window open. Facilities, cleanliness etc quite variable, but never awful. Do not depend on there being a kettle despite kitchenette. There is always a fridge and microwave, minimal plates, mugs etc in my experience.

NEVER EVER BOOK IT

The only good thing here is the location, but it is NOT worth it

Everything was awful: right when you enter the building - you see vomit on the floor, tons of stains of unknown origin, some dirty laundry all over the place, and strong smell of drugs. Most of the neighbors are drug addicts and it is scary to be near them. The room doesn't look like pictures at all, it is gross too, the smell, the strange stains on everything, furniture looks like there was a fight in this room, mattress is stained in I don't wanna know what, there's no conditioning at all but it is extremely sultry so you need to open the balcony to be able to breathe, but then you will constantly be breathing whatever your neighbors smoke(and it is definitely not just cigarettes) even though it is written that smoking is prohibited - no one of those neighbors cared. Also, the balcony is adjacent with neighbor's balcony, and the only thing that separates us is a SINGLE bar of railing that you can easily pass through right below, so you aren't even separated normally from your unsafe neighbors. It all was so awful - we couldn't stay and needed to seek another place to stay right in the night

Cyril worst host

We keyed in the key code but did not get the key. After several tries, v called the support number. After several attempts "Cyril" Attended our call. He was extremely rude and unfriendly. He even threatened us by saying if he sends a person and if the machine delivers the key, v have to pay for his work time. He was not ready to listen to us and said "I m disrespectful". To an extent he sounded so threatening that he is going to come and thrash us. We are 2 families group of 7 with 2 kids. Waited long for someone to come. Them Mr T came. Found no key in the box. He God the keys from the apartment. Cyril is a worst person I have come accross. Not fit to be in hospitality industry. Cyril made us to have a bad opinion about Switzerland. Back in India we will never treat our guest so unfriendly. Call me for more details Sudhakar +91 98410 74107

Overall is great & value for money except the refrigerator is not working well.

The room given to us is spacious with a sofa which is great for my family get together for a great chat. Also, it was fabulous that the room has a balcony with it.

You don’t wanna book this property for sure. Pay a little extra somewhere at a peaceful location.

The location is the worst. You are literally next to a train junction, a tram junction and noisy neighbourhood. Honestly, I didn’t know this before booking else I would have never booked it. It felt like I am trying to sleep on a train platform and obviously you can’t sleep there because the loud sounds from train approaching and leaving is just unbearable and that continues till midnight and starts again early morning.

I am non smoker and Smoking is not allowed but the other rooms people are smoking. The cigrette buds are thrown on my balcony. I booked 2 rooms but only get one key and then I have to call them and get the second key but the second key I got is on different floor. There is no fan no air conditioner and no window curtains (means no privacy). When you oepn the balcony door the trains noise are too loud for sleeping at night.

Well located , everything you may need it it’s nearby . To the central area only 15 minutes . I’ve made 2 reservations , and I was able to stay at the same apartment because I’ve booked the same category apartment .

Extremely loud from both sides ( road and train ) . Mattres was dirty , very dirty, I used 2 bed sheets so I could feel more comfortable. No dish soap or anything like. I asked for a ventilator 2 days before my arrival, didn’t get any (it’s summer time and was very hot in Zurich those days , like 32-35 degrees) , I had to buy one . If you’re planning to cook , forget about it. The smell of the apartment wasn’t very good .

The location and close public transport

The problem was the bed slatts had been broken previously and despite our best efforts and DIY, they broke again, each night of our 3 nights. The second problem was the total disregard of Swiss Tower Team to provide minimal customer care. We were appalled. If you spend money on staying in a hotel, you expect as a basic amenity: a functioning bed. This was not provided, and as a result caused back pain and discomfort. A carpet would have been more comfortable! Apartments Swiss Star team Address: Friesstrasse 8, 8050 Zurich. Room 703 I tried calling the hotline and wrote messages during my stay that went unanswered. I sincerely hope booking.com does something to avoid other guests being cheated in the same way.
