Private, elegant, peaceful, restful and very relaxing plus the staff were all exceptionally helpful and thoughtful, the food outstanding and the pool was superb. It was a great location and oasis to wake up to and retreat to after a day exploring Galle Fort.

Nicely maintained atmospheric Boutique hotel in a prime location inside the Fort. I stayed two nights in July 2026. I had breakfast on two mornings and dinner one night. The food was tasty and filling.
The room contained a mini fridge, AC and a ceiling fan. Note that no tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room. Water was provided in glass bottles. Service was excellent.
It's a hotel that will make you feel at home, allowing for a nice relaxing stay. Recommended.
Not so much not liking something, but I would have preferred to have tea and coffee making facilities available in the room.

The property was very clean, tidy and well presented with a homely feel. The location was great - right in the centre of Galle fort area. The staff were super helpful and friendly.
There was nothing not to like although ‘sea view’ was pushing it a bit - maybe if you stood on a chair in exactly the right spot you would be able to see the sea !! However, this did not detract from our stay.

Location was great for sightseeing
The property is adjacent to a noisy secondary school, which is open from 7am until 2.30 pm. Woken up at 7am by the school and impossible to relax by the pool due to school noise.
