Nice house in a good location.
First impressions of the rooms are good too.
Staff were helpful.
Not the only place in Sri Lanka that has problems with drain smells but this one has it real bad.
Not sure there is any simple solution but, at this price it should not be ignored.
It spoils what could be a good experience.

Lovely quiet property in excellent location in Galle - everything we needed was in easy walking distance. Beautifully restored old house, lush garden and pool (with a great kingfisher who popped by for a dip!). Breakfasts were some of the best we had during our month in Sri Lanka, and the outdoor dining area was really pleasant.
Rooms were a tad on the small side, and the manager/front office staff weren't very proactive with information or advice on what to do in Galle. The cleaning/food service staff were excellent :)
