    There are plenty of luxe hotels out there but very few understand the art of hospitality as The Charleston. From the quality of bed linen to the shower gels to the design of the bathroom to doing something as simple as serving morning coffee in bed, there are a lot of hotels around the world that can learn from Charleston. Charleston does wonders with a small place which makes me excited about their upcoming beach hotel in Matara. We enjoyed the wine selection, the quality of cocktails and the staff's attention to detail. I do think though that the hotel could work on their quality of food. I thought the menu was trying to cater to the tastes of their clientele rather than being original in it's take. I found the breakfast good but not up to the standards set by the hotel in other regards.
