The staff are so friendly and helpful It's very clean and warm and close to the beach and in a quiet neighbourhood and close to public transport.

Good quality, clean hotel, near beach and golf course.

Staff were welcoming on arrival and in the bar area. The rooms were a little dated on decoration but the beds were comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, as were the public areas and facilities.

Pillows were a little flat. The breakfast was buffet only on the Sunday and limited in choice, had to ask server for water, as only two juices were on offer. Mind you another family were offered more on arrival.

Peaceful location close to the beach with great service

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't be more helpful, from the Front Desk to the Bar/Restaurant. While the hotel feels slightly dated due to its age all facilities were in good, clean working order. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel every day and both were fantastic

The only minor criticism was the vending machine was offline but it didn't affect our stay

Pleasant place but rooms need sound proofing

Staff were nice and the place was clean

Room was insanely hot. Had a room which was near the entrance which ment i heard everyone arriving and leaving until 2am. You could hear people in the rooms above walking around talking etc. Not great since I had to be up at 6am.

It was a typical golf break hotel. But run down & quite seedy. In need of a refurbishment & update.

The breakfast was minimal. Little choice & coffee was very thin. Hot food didn't look appetising.

Memorable in the wrong way

We had our tea in the bar and it was very good portion size value for money and good quality, we even revisited it 4 weeks later when we stayed in Skegness, and will go again

The ceiling leaked in the early morning and my husband and I were woken up very wet we were offered a free cup of coffee even though we already had one and were told we should have asked for a new room on our one night stay. The noise from the fan in the kitchen below were very loud too.

Comfortable stay, good food and great staff.

The meals were quite large and good value for money. In the period I stayed there the cut off times for ordering meals was very irregular. I had an accident when I was there which prevented me for attending meal service in the restuarant. The staff were very supportive and gave me meals in my room.The room was kept warm with radiators and heat was availabel for a full 24 hours.

The room was noisey at times, because when anyone washed and dried their hands with the electric hot air hand dryer, you could here is clearly in out room. Creaking floorboards was a problem from the room above us. this noise went on for quite sometime and stopped us from getting off to sleep.

Nice room but hardly slept

Room was a decent size . Very clean . Nice tea tray . Comfy bed. Breakfast was satisfactory.

I hardly slept as my window faced another part of the hotel where there were lights on all night in a corridor and an exterior light on the opposite wall. My room was not dark, as light came in around the curtains. At about 6am an external extractor fan made noise which also disturbed me .

Steep steps at the entrance from the car park into the hotel. Hotel decor needs updating and upper floors made more accessible as no lifts. Mattress rather lumpy.

Quiet location away from main road and near the beach and plenty of parking. Good size room , nice tea tray. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet not operational but nice to be able to order to the table instead .

Noisey guests in the bar after midnight ( under my room). Self service tea and coffee at breakfast. Steps up to the rear door from car park are a bit awkward with luggage.

Would not stay again

The location was perfect for our plans and the staff were very friendly and professional

There is absolutely no sound proofing which means you can hear everything. A delightful person in the room next to us was hacking up each night which we could hear from inside our room. There is a large gap under the bedroom door which means anyone outside might as well be in the room with you. Doors do not soft close so every single slammed door shakes you. People were not considerate of others at any time of the day or night so every time someone came back to their room you heard it. The bed was uncomfortable and tiny. My 6ft 2 partner didn't fit in it but there were no other rooms available to move us too. The mattress was poor quality and dug into my hips whenever I lay on my side. All these things led to some terrible sleep, which considering a hotel is there to facilitate rest it did not deliver its purpose.
