One of the best / most memorable stays I've had. The hosts/staff went above and beyond with breakfast, communication, friendliness, rides, and hospitality. I rarely rate places a 10, but this one definitely deserves it! The room was very comfortable, big, and was perfect for our 3-night stay.

Best KhaoLak stay for a central location

My best stay in Thailand. But had all the amenities, hot shower, good Wi-Fi and an amazing balcony. The lady from the staff was among the best I caught as well. Definitely would return when I come back to Khao Lak. Location is also prime. Right in the center without all the noise. Above average breakfast on the variety, but good quality in general

Absolutely amazing!

Originally booked for 2 days for a post diving trip recovery, we ended up extending 3 more days, and then 2 more. We loved it and will come back! The owner and staff took such good care of us! Breakfast was amazing! Can't already recommend this place enough

Kai's cosy and eccentric hotel.

The owner Kai is exceptional. She welcomed me warmly into her hotel which she runs eccentricly but whilst catering for your every need and being generous with her time and helpfulness. her staff is a very efficient team. You will also not go hungry with an excellent range of included breakfast. Excellent value for money and a superb location for restaurants, bars, ATM, scooter rental and other amenities

If you ever visit Khao Lak, this is the hotel you want to book!

Kai, the manager of the hotel is an incredible host. Always keen to help and incredibly welcoming. She helped us throughout our stay in Khao Lak organize the following stops of our trip. She offered to keep our luggage at the hotel during our 3-day trip to Surin islands to allow us to travel more comfortably. Note this address if you plan to go to Khao Lak, Kai is amazing!

This hotel is so relaxing and helpful the people who run it work tirelessly to help make your stay comfortable, Kai is amazing and so so kind. a few of the kind things that were done for us, bare in mind we were only here for two nights… provided us a room early so we could sleep before check in then moved us to a bigger room help taking our bags up to our room (our very heavy bags!) free laundry if you stay here drove us to the beach and picked us up - for free! (if you have a massage there the guy is amazing! and the food is incredible) we offered money but Kai said they work on kindness here she also gave us brand new beach towels to take to the beach with us breakfast is amazing - a huge pile of fresh fruit, toast, croissants, muffins, jams and amazing coffee! 2x waters each, in 5* hotels you only get 1 each! round the corner from the night market and the main Street everything is so clean, calm and I could recommend more

The hotel is simple and cozy and the room was very clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. There is always free water and the breakfast consists of eggs, toast and plenty of fresh delicious fruits. It's located in the middle of Khao Lak close to the market, so there is often something to do outside the door. The closest beach is nothing special, so rather take a trip to one of many other beaches around. The hostess, Kai, is a very kind and joyful woman that will help you out with whatever you need; ride, trips, food recommendations etc. She was the biggest reason why I would recommend to stay here - made me feel very at home. Ended up staying two more nights than planned.

Amazing host!

Kai has been the most extraordinary host we have ever encountered. Not only did she do all our laundry for free but she also gave us a lift to every beach we wanted to go to. She is kind, warm and trustful; she really goes the extra mile for all her guests. The rooms are spotless clean and cleaned thouroughfully every day. Breakfast is amazing with plentiful of fresh fruit. Would definitely stay there again!

- Kai (the owner) is AMAZING!! She does so much for her guests! - The stay already includes a delicious breakfast (fresh fruits, baked goods, eggs (any style) and coffee), free laundary service and daily fresh beach towls. Furthermore, Kai drives you everywhere you want to go and picks you up later when you want to go back to the hotel. - The hotel is located in the center of Khao Lak but is still quiet at night. - Very cosy place you immediately feel home - Good place to meet people

A great place to stay!

Kai, who runs Casa Cool, is one of the kindest and warmest people we have ever met. We were down with a heatstroke during our stay (having had too much fun in Phuket previously 🙈) and Kai went out of her way to be there for us. Not only did she set up an appointment with a doctor, she drove us to and from the appointment as well. Given the states we were in, this was really appreciated. She always saw to it that we were heartily fed and had laundered clothes. She gave us suggestions for places to visit and also let us use a scooty to reach them. She coordinated with the bus driver for our onward journey, and even gave us snacks for the ride! Before coming to Khao Lak, we had read in another review that someone felt she was very motherly...we definitely second that having seen how much she looked after us while we were there. She refused to take any extra payment from our side when we wanted to express our gratitude for all that she did for us. She is one of those people who inspires you to be better person! Kai, we hope our paths cross again! :) The place is very cosy and the breakfast is amazing! There are a lot of food and massage options around We would definitely recommend Casacool for anyone visiting Khao Lak!

Nice hotel for short stay in Khao Lak

Lovely owner, the breakfast is delicious and suitable for vegetarians as well. Location close to the night market, beach maybe 5 mins by scooter. We stayed there as departure point for our live aboard for one night. The rooms are big and clean. The windows are yellow colored so it’s not the best light when being in the room during the day with windows closed. Therefore would recommend to not spend the day in the room too much .

We are in a 2 months long trip and this has been a highlight of comfort so far!

Excellent location, next to many restaurants, shops. The breakfast was amazing,four different kinds of fruits (mango, passion fruit, dragon fruit, water melon) in sufficient quantities, eggs with cheese, cereals,3 kinds of breads, pastries....We had a room on the fourth floor with an amazing view. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner was cold. The bathroom was large and clean with hot showers.. They are willing to machine wash and dry our clothes for free! i would come here again and again.

No staff was present on site when we arrived. We had to wait 5-10 minutes.
