I’m staying at this lovely hotel at the moment. My room is great, air conditioning works well. Breakfast is good, the staff are lovely.

We decided to stay in Khao Lak as we were travelling with our 8-month baby, and this hotel was spot on for us. Small and intimate, nice room, swimming pool just 10 meters away from the sea. The restaurant offers good food for a fair price, and in the evening you can enjoy the best sunset in the world. The smoothies from Hon are an everyday must. It’s a hotel run by a family and they are all wonderful. The sea tides can make the beach in front of the hotel to “disappear” at some times of the day, but you can still take a bath. Khao lak city centre is a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed. The property is in need of significant maintenance and care. The pillows were old and uncomfortable, and the duvet felt outdated and worn. Overall, the hotel seems quite run-down and in desperate need of TLC. The staff, while polite, struggled with communication due to their limited English, which made basic interactions and requests very difficult. This was especially frustrating when I needed assistance or clarification on certain things. The bathroom was no better. The toilet seat was old, with noticeable stains, and it felt unclean. It was clear that the facilities have not been well-maintained for some time. Additionally, the hotel was severely understaffed. During breakfast, the staff were unable to serve everyone in a timely manner, and the quality of the food was poor—nothing like what I expected. The breakfast offerings were limited and not very appetizing. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. It needs a lot of attention and investment to meet basic expectations. The location is very good. The pool area and sunset is beautiful.
