The hotel has a nice appearance, friendly staff, good cleanliness, and comfortable rooms.

I liked the location, although I wouldn’t recommend staying in Copacabana. There are cleaner and safer areas than Copacabana.

Comfortable stay in Rio close to the beach

The room was comfortable and staff are friendly and helpful. The receptionists were always open to giving us advice on where to go and how to do things. Housekeeping was very efficient. Very close to the Copacabana beach and eating places.

The only complaint I have is there was a slightly weird smell in the room as soon as we entered each time. Not sure what it was. But was only at entrance so our stay was not uncomfortable otherwise.

Less than expected

Location was great. Plenty of staff to help you out. The bathroom and shower were great.

For the price, our room was very small (there was barely room for the bed) and facing an inner courtyard with basically no natural light. The mini fridge made quite a lot of noise which was particularly noticeable at night. Our room was also in front of the elevators so we could clearly hear other guests on the other side of the door throughout the night. I would not stay here again for the price paid. I’d advise getting something else with a similar location.

Good location, excellent value

The property was well located and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were attentive and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little dated, but this did not detract from my stay. it was excellent value for money and I would recommend it

Great location, not good price

Location is great, there's plenty of shops and restaurants around, the beach is only two blocks away. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good as well.

The room was really small and the bed is quite uncomfortable, it was quite a basic room but surprisingly expensive. The WiFi is open for the whole hotel but in the room was impossible to connect to due to the lack of signal, we had to go to the lobby to use it. I wouldn't write anything negative if the price was reasonable, but the hotel was more expensive than any other we visited in Brasil, even more than the ones we visit in Europe, and we got so far the most uncomfortable stay. It's the first time we stay in a Windsor but it's probably the last as well.

Disappointing

The location was good, less than 5 minutes from Copacabana beach, a handful of food shops nearby and approximately 20 min walk to the more bustling part of town (bars, restaurants etc)

The room was very small, the view from the window was pointing to other residences. 1 of the plug sockets was loose which wouldn't work for my applications.

Windsor Copa has an excellent location. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. We loved our stay in Rio with Windsor Copa making it comfortable.

Awful situation turned into a much better one.

Thank you for allowing my Covid husband into hotel. However, room had awful view, shower(while the shower itself was fantastic), we hated that the water flows onto bathroom floor. Also, thank you for allowing us, while paying more, to stay longer in our room as our flight left very late and the airline didn’t open until 6pm. Although there were no drawers for clothes, I asked for and got 2 luggage racks for our suitcases which worked well to use as a dresser. Restaurant food was actually pretty good for dinner and breakfast were just OK. We paid for them but only ate very little. We don’t like eggs so loose. Bacon was crisp though. Hotel staff spoke English so that was GREAT! They were helpful with questions we had. Like how much Real we should give for chairs & umbrella at the beach. LOVED how close we were to the beach!!

The reception area was very cold. They should adjust the ac properly. The rooms are spacious but a bit old fashioned. Bathroom is good.

Exceptional

Good security at entrance and helping with loading suitcases into taxi at time of departure. We appreciated the daily changing of bathroom towels and bed sheets, and the room was cleaned every day.

Sometimes the key card didn't open the room door. It needed several attempts.
