Great first accommodation for first timers in Rio
Very good variety at breakfast. Bed was very comfortable. Great location.
AC was a bit loud and the TV is outdated.

Good hotel close to the beach
Nice hotel near Copacabana Beach, everything was OK. The rooftop terrace and pool is very nice. Breakfast is fresh and tasty.
The service on the rooftop bar was often not present, and you had to wait for a long time for someone to come.

Not the worst, but the photographer for their listing deserves a huge bonus.
Breakfast and the roof top pool area were nice.
Quiet old facilities. The windows are single-paned and there was a lot of street noise even on the 13th floor. Also our neighbors were very loud—i think the listing claimed the rooms were sound proof, and that definitely wasn’t the case. The housekeeper took away the key we left in the thing that shuts off power when the room is vacant when we were trying to charge our electronics—I assume that is about rationing AC. Prices are far too high for the accommodations provided. Will not be back.

Rudeness and disrespect are the worst friends of the customer service: this is what I would love to communicate to the s
I liked only the location. And the General Manager of the hotel is an amazing, polite, intelligent, hardworking and attentive person. I wish she could improve all the existing issues as soon as possible.
The room was not clean enough: dirty towels, bedsheets, pillowcases. The location is very noisy, even at night. There is no hot water in the sink, which I learned that is quite common in hotels in Brazil, however this is very inconvenient for those who are used to shaving with warm water. Additionally, some of the reception staff are not well trained to attend the guests in a proper and respectful manner: when i asked to fix the drainage issue in the sink, they told they would attend the next day; when i asked to meet the manager, they told ok, but it took two days for them to communicate to the general manager; who indeed is an amazing and intelligent lady, attentive to the details and as soon as she was informed about the issues, she did her best to fix everything. However the staff at the reception needs a proper training and the lady in the restaurant needs a warning for being rude and not attending well to the clients. She was literally rude and by this could even affect the appetite of the evening guests at the restaurant. I wish the general manager could check them all at random times, especially in the evenings and explain that the guests often deserve a respectful attendance and the issues they encounter first belong to the hotel..

Hard to believe that a premium touristic area like Copacabana is still so behind in terms of hotel.
Location was great. Room's interior was good.
When we arrived the AC was making a lot of noise. Then they fixed it, but two days later the AC started to leak. Flush malfunctioned (water kept going nonstop). Every time we would go in the floor hallway there would be a lot of equipment or garbage from housekeeping, even outside housekeeping hours. There was some work being done in the floors above, so we could listen the noise during the day inside the room. Wi-fi isn't good enough for video calls.

Great value for money hotel in Copacabana
The location of this hotel is just perfect, just 250 metres away from Copacabana beach and everything else that you may require, be it restaurants, supermarket, laundry etc etc is just a stone's throw away from the Hotel.
This ofcourse is a bit too much to expect, but they don't have any room with a sea view even in their top floor. If at all there was one, it would have been a cherry on top of the cake.

Good place to stay for a short visit to Rio on a budget
It was convenient for sightseeing. It had a comfortable large bed, enough hot water in the shower, and a good breakfast with enough choices. Smart exterior. Near the Metro stop. There was a nice area on the roof with a bar.
The bathroom was old and the shower head sprayed over the shower screen( my husband did a temporary fix with some plastic in place of a washer), the toilet flush was struggling, the sink did not have a plug and there were not enough hooks for towels. The air conditioning was noisy and did not seem to respond to the temperature control on the remote- it either was on or off. The swimming pool was very small, the area was a bit tired
