Copacabana Palace, A Belmond Hotel, Rio de Janeiro

I want to sincerely thank Copacabana for their understanding and support. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to board my flight because I didn’t have the required visa to enter Brazil — a last-minute issue that completely changed my plans. Despite this, they accepted my refund request without any hassle, and I truly appreciate the fairness and professionalism shown. It’s rare to find that kind of customer care these days. Although I couldn’t make it this time, I’m definitely looking forward to booking my stay with them on my next trip to Brazil. Kudos to the team for being so considerate — you’ve earned my loyalty!

Finest Hotel in South America. History, well located, service, food and ambience war 5 Star.

A very nice hotel and the staff was great. I particularly like Pablo and Ceaser at the poolside bar. Also, I got a massage from Krysty and she was top notch.

Loved the attentiveness of the staff. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The pool is amazing. And the food choices were excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

A special mention to Jenifer and Eddy, the exceptional pool area staff, whose attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made our time by the pool truly unforgettable. Their service went above and beyond, ensuring every moment was perfect. They truly exemplify the five-star hospitality that Copacabana Palace is known for. Pool too busy at weekends with people just paying for the day, not a good experience

Best place to stay on Copacabana and Ipanema. We started off at JW Marriott and that was so bad we paid the big difference and stayed here. Worth every penny. Everything here on point. Great staff. Great breakfast. Would return in a heartbeat

Delightful historic hotel with exceptional service. Eduardo, our bellman, in particular, continually went above and beyond.

Postives: great service from the staff, and the food was good. Negative: the hotel feels dated and in need of a renovation. For high end luxury prices (similar to 5* hotels in NYC or London), this didn’t feel like good value

Top notch service

Copacabana Palace is a gem. The level of service is just magical. I mentioned my love of brigadeiros to the bellhop, a tin full of the was delivered to the room. An employee walks around the pool offering to clean your sunglasses. Little treats are offered around the property throughout the day. I’m not a fan of Copacabana as a neighborhood but the hotel is worth staying.
