We hade a very nice room with view over the water

We hade dinner in the retaurant We were recommended tuna, it was the daily dish The tuna ” steak” did not tast as it should The tuna felt like it was ”sous vide” prepered to long and then quickly turned on the pan, artificial Also want to mention that I was charged 20 euro to charge a hybrid car ? Battery size 10kwh !! That was expensive kilometers 😳

The hotel is lovely and has a great location. Breakfast is very good

Our room was on the front of the hotel with a lovely view of the fjord. But there was some noise from the road outside particularly as we had the window open due to the weather.

The team is very engaged to help and welcome customers. Fantastic breakfast and very good dinner at the Columbus restaurant. Nice SPA area even if no swimming pool. The room is large and well furnished

Spectacular hotel. Superb design. EXCEPTIONAL breakfast. Worth the visit.

Well. The staff is germanic and with that comes certain idiosyncracies, like when waiting for room for a couple of hours, and using the automatic cappuccino machine, all of a sudden a waitress appears, telling us this was completely unauthorized use, and making sure we are each charged euro 3:50. AND this is a management problem. Hotel needs to teach staff that when guests wait, it is not unreasonable to offer them a coffee. I can afford 3.50. It just is cheap to act like that by hotel, like they have to get in every cent they can. And how am I supposed to know machine is VERBOTEN? But maybe in germany people assume alles is verboten, unless expressly permitted? I dont know. Anyway, it leads to reviews with comments like this one. But if machine is there, without supervision, most hotels would allow guests to use for free. So hotel needs sign saying ACHTUNG ACHTUNG: DAS IST DEUTSCHLAND: KEIN KOSTENLOSER KAFFEE: DO NOT TOUCH. I guess only non germans will think my comment is funny. And hey, I got a german father, so I am allowed to make fun of you guys, I sure recognize the behavior . . . hahahaha;)

Recommended - fair value and elegant accommodation.

Excellent room in annexe. Spacious modern and well equipped . Good location. Fair value for money 1400 Euros for 7 nights stayed in "brik" suite. Quiet and elegant.

No English language tv channels - in spite of hotel literature indicating availability. Not much emphasis on tourism - business clients priority. e.g. no knowledge of 9 Euro monthly travel pass .No coffee or tea facility in room - I know a British "thing"!.

A bit disappointed

It is very well placed and very clea

After booking we called the hotel to get room 106 which is by far the best Fregatte room with old fashioned interior and barhtub (we have stayed in this room before) but we got a modern business like Fregatte room 102….too bad ! furthermore, paying 290€ a Night and not even a coffe maskine or water kettle in the room….this is too poor standard…. Quite disappointed as confirmed room was changed without notice…..thrustworrhy? hmmmm 😞
