Great value for money, excellent location

The building is gorgeous! We were amazed by the entree with the restaurant and cocktailbar. We were greeted by a welcoming lady at the reception who explained everything really well. The location is right at the border of the centre so perfect. The room is nice with very good beds en pillows. Super clean inside the room. Excellent gym if you need one. The cocktails were excellent and not too expensive.

One minor thing are the floors in the hallway and staircase. They could have been a bit cleaner especially in the staircases.

Comfortable and convenient, with great staff

This was a last-minute booking (because of weather/transport problems), but it was a very good choice. The room was simple, but very clean and comfortable. My room overlooked the interior courtyard, and was very quiet. Wifi was fast and easy to access. The best thing was the staff, who were all exceptionally cheerful and helpful.

There was no heater in the bathroom, so it was rather cold (though the bedroom itself was fine).

Convenient location, Ok for a short stay

Helpful staff, comfy bed and room, only a few minutes' walk to the water and a number of bars & restaurants. About a 20 minute walk to the train station which is doable.

I stayed on a Sunday, the hotel bar and restaurant is closed on Sundays which was a shame as I was really keen on a German beer after travelling from Denmark. On the plus side it meant I had to go out and found a few great places.

Excellent 3 star hotel with 4 star feeling. Above expectation!

It is stated as a three star hotel, but we had a feeling it should be four star. It has a grandeur lobby, ample bedroom and bathroom, breakfast was excellent. Location very strategic with a parking garage nearby. All above our expectation!

It was fine.

The location is fine and central. Parking is in a public car park 200 meters away, but safe. Staff very polite. Breakfast is good. Overall it’s a good hotel.

This is only a personal observation. The bathroom has nowhere to put toilet bags, no shelves apart from a small space either side of the wash basin.

Nice hotel - unfriendly staff

Great looking hotel and a prime location. Food in restaurant was good - both dinner and breakfast.

Staff was surprisingly unfriendly. They made a couple of small mistakes (bringing wrong order at restaurant, assigning us to an already reserved table at breakfast), and the way they reached to those mistakes felt entirely as if we were to blame for them. We are going to choose another hotel next time we are in Flensburg.

Exceptional

The facilities are top notch, but what stands out is the staff. Universally friendly and going out of their way to be helpful. The button for the large flush in our room was hanging a little, so we told reception. First response was an offer for another room. We simply suggested that they had a look at it and next morning the maintenance guy changed the whole flush plate and all was in order. The staff in the lobby bar also went out of their way to provide us with precisely what we wanted. The hotel is placed at the bottom of the Flensburg harbour and the main shopping street is half a block away. Great restaurants in the neighborhood, and the hotel breakfast was excellent. We will certainly be back.

Nice hotel in the heart of Flensburg. Such a nice cristmas street just around the corner. Lots of restaurants near by. Delicious breakfast. Quiet room. Parking hall just near by and special price for hotel guests.

Exceptional

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for years. Rooms were really spacey. Great bathroom. Comfortable beds. And the staff crowned the glory by being friendly and efficient. Even before arrival, when we got the confirmation message through Booking.com they asked if we wanted something extra, like more pillows. We said yes to the pillows and they were in place by arrival Add to all that a really good breakfast and this is certainly a hotel we will return to.

Comfortable stay in centre of Flensburg

Good communication before the trip to get to know about parking and other necessities. We traveled with our dog, so we got a dog bed, food bowls and complimentary treats for her. That was extremely nice.

There could be more vegetarian options at breakfast buffet.
