We loved it and loved the hostess and location was perfect! 5 stars.

Everything! This is such an amazing property to stay in with the most generous and kind host. This home is gorgeous and you will get an authentic Italian experience staying in it. From an amazing stone staircase to the cats roaming about outside to fresh morning croissants it’s perfect! Not many ppl speak English but it only added to the authentic experience.

Charming Stay in a small village along Como

Omer & Mara are excellent hosts and they ensure your stay is comfortable. Our room on the first floor was great for a family of 5, although we were just 3 adults travelling, there was an extra room with a bunk bed for kids. Everything was very clean and this boutique B&B has a wonderful charm to it. There are common spaces where you can sit and interact with the other guests, a fully equipped, functional kitchen where you could cook yourselves meals (although we didn't use the facility since we were there just for a night). They gave us excellent suggestions for our meals and even called ahead to make a reservation. We had an unforgettable experience thanks to their recommendation and loved our short stay. We'll definately come back for a longer stay sometime again.

Exceptional stay near Lago di Como

Casa Olmi is a beautiful little place to spend 1/2 nights when visiting Lago di Como. Mara is an excellent host who even greeted us with a glass of Proseco. We recommend it to everyone!

The room was very nice and big enough. Classic italian feeling. Very nice stuff. The stuff was very helpful, friendly. our stay was very comfortable, big kitchen, big open spaces, just loved that.

Lovely home stay 10 mins from Argegno

It was a very homely atmosphere and we liked it. the garden on both sides was wonderful and the host Mara is very welcoming.

although not their fault, the Wi-Fi is a bit patchy.

Pleasant stay in a charming house

The host was very friendly and helpful. Although we arrived late, he arranged the dinner for us and helped with the luggage. Definitely we will return to enjoy his hospitability again.

Good overnight stay while deiving through

Exactly as described and pictured, clean and comfortable for a night. Our room was on the first floor. We were able to use the refrigerator in their kitchen to store some of our stuff, and also had an electric kettle in the room. In addition to the 3 beds, the room also had 2 bunk beds separated by a sliding door. There was also free parking nearby and our dogs were welcome. The owners came out when we had trouble locating the building and we did not have any issues with late check-in.

The glass shower door panels in the bathroom didn’t line up, flooding the floor. Also, while there were a lot of places to hang stuff, there wasn’t much space for toiletries. The WiFi speed wasn’t good.

The host was very welcoming. Loved the stay over there. The main door was open 24/7 so movement during the night was very easy and the bus stop was just around the corner so taking the bus to Como was pretty easy as well. Not to mention, the bus ride (C20) from Como to Olmi is simply spectacular with a mesmerizing view.

Hidden gem (12 min from Como by car)

A tiny problem was with not ideal sound isolation and heavy noisy keys from room doors - we could hear neighbors come and go. But overall the house is very quite and it wasn't a huge problem for us.

It was a truly exceptional experience to stay in this ancient but renovated with love house. It's located in a quite tiny medieval village just 12 min drive from the lake Como. The room was spacious, in the shared kitchen you have everything needed to organize a meal for yourself, the shared bathroom we had was spectacular (with a chimney^^), super clean and never occupied. We also enjoyed nice service and friendliness of the owner. It's an ideal option for those who don't like overcrowded touristic locations and faceless hotels.
