Location very central. Check in later than expected. Would have benefitted from some secluded outside space where we could have sat.

There was a pool in the garden but it isn't maintained which is a shame as would have loved to have used it. It's the 2nd time we've stayed here and it would be great to have use of the pool on our next visit

Good recommendations for breakfast etc. Enjoyed Art Cafe and Coast Inn Loved West Mersea
The shower didn't seem to be able to hold its temperature

There was not much to like about the property, but its location to the river estuary.
It is not a Retreat in a quiet location. We were constantly woken in the morning by workers or other residents!
