Cosy 3 Bedroom Beachfront Getaway in Mersea

It was bright, clean and airy. The location was great, 2 min walk to the beach, sunset on the veranda, and the property was cosy yet roomy and really clean. Yan the owner was really helpful and communicative.

The mattresses. I stayed in one of the twins, my son stayed in another and both of us didn’t get much sleep, you can feel the hard springs in the mattress and they are really uncomfortable. Apparently the double bed was ok! We only stayed one night and I would love to return and stay longer but the beds honestly put me off! Could also do with bedroom lamps - that is a small thing but would make a real difference as the light switches are by the door and for bright overhead light only.

The property was very well located and very spacious. The furniture on the decking was lovely as was the decking itself.

The WiFi did not work at all and the beds and bedding were not the best. Outside the lights didn’t work so we couldn’t sit out at night ( although in fairness it may be that I couldn’t find the right switch. I was trying the one next to the door)and the umbrella was broken and ripped so there was no shade. Also the outside of the property needed a good clean.
