Lovely hotel in a quiet setting.

The hotel was delightfully decorated. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely, good quality and large variety. The eggs was especially delicious. It was very convenient for parking.

Wifi was not the best but didn't detract from our stay.

An absolutely exceptional place to stay! Everyone was so accommodating and kind. The room was clean and immaculate, well equipped, and comfortable. The breakfast was also incredible!! Best breakfast we had while on our Europe road trip! In fact, my mom took more pictures of the the food and breakfast room than of castles we saw in our adventures! Thank you for such a fun stay!

Stay at Hotel Zu Sonne in Rimsting was fantastic, with excellent service from Marissa

Our two-day stay at Hotel Zu Sonne was fantastic. First of all, Marissa is an outstanding host who organized everything according to the agreement. The rooms were clean, and the payment and invoice process went smoothly. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh items, and Marissa was always there to prepare coffee, juice, or tea – you can really tell she works with love. The apartments are much larger than standard hotel rooms; they are actually small apartments, making the stay even more comfortable. The parking is conveniently located right in front of the property, and the hotel is situated in the small town of Rimsting, where everything is close by and easily accessible. All in all, a great experience, highly recommended!

the breakfast was out of this world

The breakfast is out of this world! Beds are comfortable, though on the harder side, shower is great. Breakfast was the best I had in years. staff is very friendly and hospitable. And did I mention the breakfast? really, the breakfast is why you need to stay here.

you can find all sorts of things that can be better (think 5-star property), but for this price, there really isn’t anything.

Good location, perfect breakfast.

I was the only guest that night. Didn't bother me. The room was simple but very clean and quit. Close to the highway. The breakfast was unbelievable. Just for me the family provided everything that they normally would provide when there is a buffet. Enjoyed every minute.

Nice hotel, They have earned their rating !

The breakfast very elaborate. Very good variety, fresh breads, fruits, egg to order, and most important a personalized touch by the Hotel owner. The interiors and decoration was tastefully done. View from the room was amazing. The hotel staff was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Overall an excellent stay.

Außergewöhnlich schön, wir kommen gerne wieder

Super netter Empfang, sehr schöne - wenn auch etwas hellhörige - Zimmer. Der Frühstücksraum ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir waren zum 2. Advent da, einfach alles wunderschön. Hervorragend Frühstück, es fehlt an nichts.

Empfehlenswert für einen Urlaub am westlichen Chiemsee

Lage ist sehr verkehrsgünstig; die Wohnung im Hotel kann nur sehr positiv bewertet werden - Größe und Ausstattung sowie Sauberkeit; Highlight war eindeutig das Frühstück: Nicht nur die Vielfalt der angebotenen Speisen war beeindruckend (jede Menge zeitaufwendige Fingerfoods und kleine Happen) sondern im Besonderen die Atmosphäre des Frühstückraums - Mit Tischtüchern bedeckte Tische, frische Blumen auf dem Tisch, liebevoll dekoriert (am Besten siehe Fotos). Die junge Hotelchefin sowie ihre Mutter waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Aus den Gesichtern der unterstützenden jungen Damen im Frühstücksraum strahlte uns jeden Morgen ein freundliches Lächeln entgegen!

Tolle, modern eingerichtete Zimmer. Ein wunderbar zubereitetes und präsentiertes Frühstück. Liebevoll zubereitet in einer tollen Umgebung. Hochwertiges Geschirr.

Leider etwas laut an der Straße. (Suite IV) liegt genau mit dem Schlafzimmer zur Straße.

Sehr liebevoll gestaltetes Ambiente, sowohl im Zimmer wie auch im Gastraum. Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich reichhaltig und liebevoll vorbeteitet. Es werden alle Wünsche zuvormommend erfüllt. Warme Speisen, wie z. B. Rührei werden individuell, frisch zubereitet. Das ist 4 Sterne Niveau.

Un grand merci pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse. Une adresse (au calme) à ne pas manquer si vous voyagez dans le coin. Un petit-déjeuner (buffet) fabuleux dans un cadre tout aussi beau. N'hésitez pas à leur demander de bonnes adresses de restaurants locaux, nous n'avons pas été déçus… bien au contraire. Merci encore.

Liebevoll, herzliches Hotel mit viel Charme und Tradizion

Die herzliche Begrüßung und Betreuung waren großartig! Alles unkompliziert und vertrauensvoll! Das Hause ist mit viel Liebe und Herz dekoriert und im "Frühstücksladen" fühlt man sich wie im Himmel. Nicht nur der Dekoration wegen sondern die Frühstücksvarianten und die Präsentation all der Köstlichkeiten sind einzigartig und vielfältig.

Schade, dass das Hotel an einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt, was wir im Vorfeld nicht genau erkundet haben. Doch durch das Schließen der Fenster konnte man den Lärm gut abschirmen. Das Hotel würde an einem ruhigen Platz 5 Stern+ von uns erhalten.

Es waren tolle 7 Tage, mit sehr freundlichen Hotel Management und Personal.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, war von allem was da, Eier jeglicher Art, wurden frisch zubereitet. Für uns war es besonders toll, da es auch immer ein tolles Kuchenangebot gab. Die Lage war Nähe Chiemsee, so ca. 5-6 km entfernt in Prien, wo mann dann auch Boot fahren kann zum ausleihen oder auch zur Herren oder Fraueninsel kommt. Ein Parkplatz stand kostenlos zur Verfügung, was wir als sehr angenehm entfanden. Tolle Lage.

Das Zimmer war ein kleines bischen zu klein, wussten nicht so richtig wo wir die Koffen hinstellen sollten.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, das Personal war während des gesamten Aufenthalts sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war außergewöhnlich gut, bot eine sehr große Auswahl, war liebevoll angerichtet und es blieben keine Wünsche offen.

Ein sehr gut gelungener Aufenthalt am Chiemsee.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Service und Personal waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ausserdem hat das Wetter mitgespielt, sodass wir jeden Tag zum Baden an den See bzw. mit dem Rad eine Tour unternehmen konnten.

Schade, dass das Hotel über keinen Aufzug verfügt. Für Personen mit Bewegungseinschränkungen ist diese Unterkunft nicht geeignet.
